Brace yourself for big changes in your work and money life, Aries! This is the year when a lot of your past potential and promise come out. Two eclipses in your career sector (one in January and one in July) will set the stage for a major shift. Some of this will be the fulfillment of things you've been working on quietly for some time, and part of this will simply be thrust on you by circumstance.
Either way, change is good, and will lead to a greater sense of long-term fulfillment on your part. Pluto also continues its long-term travel through your job zone. Pluto is a planet that demands a deep and committed response, whether you thought you were ready for it or not. This isn't at all necessarily bad or difficult news. No one is every 100 percent happy with their work and money life, it seems, and that basic sense of mild ongoing dissatisfaction can be what propels you towards greater career heights. June and July may see you seriously contemplating a change in direction as far as what you do for a living. Keep your eyes open for new opportunities.
As far as actual cash on hand, the news appears to be more good than bad -- especially in September and October. The last year probably wasn't too comfortable (but lacked any serious shortages). The next year will provide stability. No big lottery wins, in other words, but lots of chances to get smaller expenses in line. Keep an eye on the pennies, and the dollars will take care of themselves.

That said, your odds for true career success are better this year than they have been in the last decade.
The second half of the year will see you making a wide range of new social contacts that will have a financial payoff down the road. Think of August and September as a chance to do some effective networking that will pay off late in the year or early in 2011. Your greatest source of expense in the next year is likely to be on the home front. Make sure you can really afford that new couch -- or that new house to put it in!
As for your actual money supply, there are opportunities coming up in strange and unexpected places, particularly in July. An eclipse in your money house can serve as both a warning against overspending and as a sign that circumstances are about to change dramatically. Fortunately, your other aspects at that time appear to be more good than bad. Be forewarned though: there are bound to be at least a couple of weeks of genuine uncertainty. Remain optimistic, try not to overspend, and you'll make it through fine.

After a year when numerous possibilities opened up -- some good, some more challenging -- 2010 is going to be more a year of consolidation and advancement within your chosen career path. If you've faced uncertainty as to which direction to take things, this is good news. If you are unhappy with your current career path, take a look back at events of the past year. Possibilities opened up and contacts were made that will be of help in the next year -- even if you aren't immediately aware of it. If you're looking for a promotion or increased credit in your work place, there are two time frames that will be most to your benefit: January through March, and September through October. These would also be excellent times to get your resume into circulation. Even if you are happy with your current position, there might be something even better out there. That, and having a choice, is rarely a bad thing.
As far as your actually money supply, Taurus has a certain reputation for being prone to over-spending, and there are two points in the year where this will be a serious possibility. June and July may see you shelling out more money than usual on things you may not actually need, like an overly lavish vacation. Secondly, the traditional pre-Christmas spending binge looks to be a little bigger than usual. Try to get that done early this year, and try not to overdo it. People naturally love you, Taurus -- you don't have to buy that!

As far as your work life goes, 2010 divides up into two nice, clearly defined chunks: the first half of the year is going to present struggles, and the second half will see a boatload of new opportunities. January and February will be a lot of work -- literally and figuratively -- almost as if everyone ignored their jobs during the run up to Christmas, and then decided to drop everything on your desk. Although your relationships with co-workers may be strained at this time, it isn't anything you can't handle. Be careful not to drag too much of that work stress home with you to a partner, particularly in January. Rather than dwell on it, do your best to find a way to take that experience and use it to your benefit.
June and July will bring some exciting opportunities for advancement. You'll be getting more recognition for your efforts, and the possibility of a raise is in store. If you don't have a regularly scheduled salary review planned for that time, things may be going well enough that you might want to bring the subject up anyway. Even the seed of that notion planted then can take root later.
March to May will urge you to really do something about your actual cash-on-hand situation. You'll have both an increased drive to increase your security, and (paradoxically) the urge to overspend. Try to avoid "emotional overspending" during that time, and the rest of the year should work out for you.

The last year has probably presented more frustrations than triumphs in the work and money departments for you. Thankfully, it all turns around this year! There will be two eclipses -- one in January and one in July -- that will shake loose the situations you've been dealing with for a while now. In January, an eclipse in your Career House will make for distinct changes at your place of work. At first this change may be a cause for some concern: an increase in responsibilities, for example. You've put in a lot of work over the last two years, Scorpio, with at least some reward for your efforts. Even in a difficult economy, you've shown your ability to survive almost anything. Take the time this April and May to check into possible debt consolidation or other ways to ease the burden.
Perhaps the most important change to your work and money picture will be your gaining a sense of the Big Picture much more than you've had in the last couple of years. Having a job is one thing; having one that you are happy with and that you find fulfilling is another one entirely. This year will bring new clarity as to your goals, and will give the drive to get there.

Fortunately, that influence has passed, and (relatively speaking) it should be clear sailing from now on. Congratulations on having simply made it through more or less in one piece. July and August will find you excelling at your work. Don't be afraid to point this out to your boss, either; They'll be more likely to respond positively to your work at that time, and you'll be more likely to reap the benefits.
A newfound sense of economic relief may give you the urge to party hard with your earnings. Be careful of this. Just as the last two years have seen stresses and strains on your professional life, this year is going to be seeing all kinds of new opportunities for you to spend. Pluto in your House of Money brings profound lessons with it. You will be challenged to be wiser with your cash. Think of this as a chance to make what you have go farther, so that you can have that much more security when things are better. January and February will likely be easier on your money supply than it is most years, and the summer will likely see a further improvement to you income.
If you're in a long-term relationship now, things should go generally smoothly, or at least not worse than they've been of late. One thing to watch for is that career pressures on either your end or that of your partner could make for some new stresses on the relationship. Keep your head about you, and you'll make it through.

Adaptation and flexibility are absolute requirements for life in the modern world, and this applies to your work and money situation as much as to any other area of your life. Economic uncertainty has been running wild for the last year or so, and you've felt the fear just as much as anyone. The economic weather simply hasn't wanted to play along with your high ideals about how things should be. That's probably made you at least as fretful as the average person, and maybe more so. Fortunately, your unique gift for seeing an ideal and staying focused on it will have definite rewards in 2010.
When it comes to your actual sense of direction with your career and how you fit into life, Neptune will continue to make things fuzzy, but Jupiter is coming to the rescue! It moves into your Money House in January, and will bring much better luck with your cash supply. The entire period of January through September will see dramatically improved luck; not necessarily "winning the lottery" type luck, though. The same amount of effort you put into your finances will be rewarded with better results. Take advantage of this time by using your head with your budget, and you will see dramatic gains.
Work in general will continue to be the same combination of grind and reward that you're used to throughout most of the year, with an overall slight reduction in pressure. April through June may find you subject to more than the usual share of office politics -- stay above it all and no harm will come to you. In terms of actual cash on hand, 2010 will provide the usual struggles, but with a couple of highlights. The first two months of 2010 will see more of a pinch in the wallet than usual. So the more careful you are with Holiday shopping, the easier it will go. From March onwards, new circumstances enter your financial life that will be in place for the long term.
