Danganyika itazidi kusoma label forever,I am not even worried of that Country really.Go Kenya Go.

I don't know why you give facts where they only favor your bias. Lets use the GDP PPP then , 2018 GDP per capita PPP in Tanzania is est ~ 2745.53 USD while KENYA per capita GDP in 2018 is ~US$3,657.

The life of an average Kenyan is still better than an average Bongolala.

GDP PPP is just a measure of how "effective" an economy is, and what you are not telling is that GDP PPP is very difficult to measure and make conclusions from. This is because it's very difficult to compare value of services across TZ and KE.

I said per capita data is inaccurate for Highly unequal societies like kenya and more accurate for equal societies like Tz.

TZ is as equally poor as say Somalia. There are many tools or indicators including poverty analysis that show TZ are generally poorer and less progressive than kenya. Kenya poverty the last decade reduced by 10% - the regional inequalities - are also being smoothed. I think absolute poverty is down to 25% (less than 1 dollar per day per person) with normal poverty (less than 2 dollars person per day) around 35%

Nominal GDP and nominal GDP per capita is the perhaps the standard measure for nearly any macro-economics - and therefore just because TZ continues to regress and Kenya is moving fast ahead - doesn't make it less important measure.

Namshangaa sana huyo, yaani huwa wapo wapo tu, hawajui chochote kuhusu nchi yao.

That was 4 years ago Mister... do you know what happened in those 4 years??? and do you know what kind of regime we are having right now??

And the calculations in 2014 included discoveries of gas in Mtwara and mobile money... so it was basically they were adding new industries in their books...

Yet almost 76% of the agriculture sector which is among the largest sector is informal... and that is agriculture alone... hujaenda kwenye small scale mining, small scale manufacturing, machinga etc.

Tourism industry and related activities is also growing... Hapo bado huja include all the infrastructure projects we have been doing for the past 4 years (port, roads, SGR etc)...

My brother, hiyo title ya MIC we really don't need it now..

4yrs is short period for a rebasing. And you're aggresively rebasing - as of 2017 - you were in the middle of a re-base - so it appears you're desperate to get MIC.
IMF Staff Concludes Visit to Tanzania
" The team notes that the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) is engaged in rebasing the GDP statistics, an exercise that is required of all EAC countries. "
The best practise is to rebase every 5yrs. Obviously that only happen in developed countries with enough data. I think only Ghana has managed to pull that 5yr cycle.Kenya will likely continue to rebase it's economy after every 9-10yrs. Census data is critical for re-basing and we will be doing Census this year - and possibly re-base our economy around 2021/2022.

Why don't you engage in a logical conversation, there is no math that you can teach me bro.
I just find your arguments too biased for someone who claims to be an intellectual. Shouting here all the time how GDP PPP is a better measure than GDP Nominal without talking of the situations in a specific economy is just mediocre. GDP PPP is a good measure in a country whose economy is mostly domestic, while for a nation involved in exporting and importing goods using the US dollar the GDP Nominal can be a better measure of how "successful" the economy is.
Without even trying to make any conclusions i expect your answer on the argument of GDP PPP and GDP Nominal to start with "It depends what country and economy we are talking about" ... not all the time adjusting your reasoning to favor your bias

You see! You don't get it, MAKANJAMNA enlighted you about our economy being informal, meaning a big percentage of our GDP is not counted. So don't get over your head and be fooled by those statistics thinking they represent countries like Tanzania. It might well represents Kenya, South Africa or Zimbabwe but not Tanzania.
