Reporter: โwere you actually giving Lionel Messi instructions?โ
Scaloni: โAre you seriously asking me that? What am I supposed to teach him?โ ๐
Reporter: โMaybe tell him, โMove hereโฆ step backโฆ when the ball comes from this side, do this?โโ
Scaloni (laughing): โThatโs crazy. By then heโd already watched 55 minutes of the game and understood everything happening on the pitch. He doesnโt need that.โ
โOf course, we discuss tactical adjustments. whether weโre changing shape or attacking a certain way. so he knows how to manage the game. But teaching Lionel Messi how to play football? Absolutely not. Zero.โ ๐๐ฆ๐ท
