At least 13 people were killed and 30 others injured Wednesday in three suicide blasts in the northeast Nigerian town of Chibok‎, Residents of Kaitheri village in Kirinyaga County are still in shock after a 22-year-old student committed suicide on Wednesday, September 14, leaving behind a suicidal note saying he had lost hope in life.

The family had previously withheld information concerning his death, until late Thursday, September 15 when the Kirinyaga Central OCPD, Eliud Monari, released the suicidal note to the media.
