The Watamu skyscraper "Palm Exotjca", next to the laying of the foundations, has recently obtained one of the last important feasibility certifications, that of the Kenya Civil Aviation (KCAA) for light pollution.
The building that will measure 370 meters high and will have an emergency landing strip for helicopters on its roof will not be a problem for aviation or the environment, according to studies presented to the authorities Kenyan.
"The emission of light sources has been studied with a view to not affecting the surrounding environment - explains the Kenyan engineer of the Palm Exotjica team - and even the glass of the building will not reflect light outside of it. it is for electricity emissions, the current Watamu Power & Lightning plant will be upgraded at our expense and we will not need to build one specifically for the building ".
According to the designers, water will not be a problem either because of the assurances of the regional company MAWASCO, or because of the wells that will be built in the land adjacent to the one where the building will be built.
"Very deep wells studied with special filters for the use of water for each occurrence - explain the team - just as we have prepared a system for reusing waste water, with a system for the disposal of saline residues, which cannot damage the land and to plants: environmentalists can rest assured, Palm Exotjca will be a "green building", it is all in conformity to have the final go-ahead from the competent authorities ".
