Dear friends and colleagues,
I hope this e-mail finds you well. We are currently conducting an exciting research which investigates the possibility of introducing a remote electronic voting system for future presidential and parliamentary elections in Tanzania. This research is expected to provide guidance to our government on how to improve its electoral system through information and communication technology.

As part of the initial stages of this process, we would like to open up the floor for sharing ideas. Please take a few minutes to fill-out our online survey by clicking the link below

It is a good idea, but this system doesnot apply in our country.Lazima tuchakachue matokeo kwanza ndiyo tuyaweke hadharani,na hasa kwa kipindi hiki ambacho wananchi hawana imani na chama chetu cha mapinduzi[revolutional party]

My question is: Have you been commissioned to undertake this project or is it an idea you 'd like to sell to the government? If it is your ideas guys, be sure this government wouldn't want to hear of it. Mainly because there is no respect for home-grown ideas and technologies. Heads of departments and directors love to see 'made in Germany' made in Japan etc. Sorry, but this is the painful truth guys!
