Charges: Undergraduate: 450,000 per academic year

B:OFF CAMPUS HOSTELS (PRIVATELY OWNED)
1. A&A Company's Hostel
Hostel Name: A & A Kariakoo Hostel
Gender: Female
Capacity: 482
Location: Kariakoo, Plot no. 23, along Uhuru Road
Charges: 750,000 Per Academic Year, in the following breakdown:
i) Hostel fee per student per year Tshs 700,000/=
ii) Hostel Caution Money per student Tshs 35,000/= ( to be refunded to student at the end of
academic year)
iii) Student Hostel IDs Tshs15,000/=
Total Tshs 750,000/=
Tips about A & A Hostel
 The company will insure that the student in the hostel are safe and all necessary agreed service
are available at the right time.
 The building is of seven flats (7flat) located along Uhuru road Kariakoo It easily accessible with
public transport daladala.
 The IFM students will occupy 7flats which have 13 living houses with 92 rooms. Each room will
host a minimum of 4 to maximum of 6 students, each house has four wash rooms (two rooms
are self contain and two wash rooms are public), the complete house it has central study room ,
The rooms will be furnished with table and chairs.
 The house is surrounded with well protected balcony which can be used as study places.
 Each house it has independent electricity LUKU, and the Hostel Management will monitor the
consumption of electricity per house and when the bills exceed the allocated limit each student
will be informed for contribution or otherwise the deposit will be reduced to the amount equal to
the excess consumed by the student.
 The Building will have full time lift and standby generator operated by the Hostel Management ,
In case of long hours electricity cut the public areas will be provided with simple solar power lights
to allow students movement in the house.4 / 7
 The building has full time source of water drilled well and reserve tanks to ensure water
availability in the houses.
 Sanitation will be under hostel management.
 The Hostel management at the Top roof will provide laundry services and food facilities at
student options. A reasonable price for food and laundry service will be offered.
 The hostel management will provided Hired security 24 hours for sake of student security within
the building.
 Hostel cleaners will provide cleaning service to public areas in the houses such as public wash
room.
