Membership is open to all, we require much support from the general public as well as conservation and development organizations and institutions.
The African Wildlife Service of Tanzania (AWISE-TZ) is an independent, membership and non-profit making organization. Its main objective is to work towards natural and cultural resources management, environmental conservation and social development.
The state of global environment is deteriorating day after day; for instance the average deforestation in Tanzania is more than 500,000 ha/year! Your Support to conservation is important to reverse this situation, so as to make the world to be a better place to live.
As a member you will receive a free news letter of conservation and development activities through your address twice a year, you will have access to valuable environment-related literature in the Organization's Library plus other benefits. Active Students are sometimes taken to conservation field areas as a Volunteer. They also participate in AWISE-TZ organized competition. Please join now!
