Role Overview
Gilgal Tech is seeking a passionate and talented Junior Software Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in Python and web development (or full-stack development). Candidates with a background in graphic design will have an added advantage.Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python.
- Build and optimize responsive and user-friendly websites.
- Collaborate with senior developers and team members on various projects.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Contribute to team discussions and provide creative solutions to problems.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong skills in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of frameworks like Django, Flask, or similar is a plus.
- Logical problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva) is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
