There has to be a pioneer. Just because Delta, AA or whoever are not doing it doesn't mean its not viable..... sio kila kitu kuiga wazungu. Wacha inferiority complex!!Why has Delta Airlines, AA never set foot in nairobi either for cargo or passangers?
Its been 1 year since JKIA was awarded direct flights. Cant these huge & monied airlines see the $$ on this route? or may be there is actually no $$ just big talk
There is no discrimination for american companies insearch for $$. That is why you will see them even in zimbabwe & politicaly unstable countries like iran. There has to be a pioneer. If there was money in this so called big deal, they would be lining up like hungry dogs
Routes are chosen based on internal economic analysis of an airline and its business model... If an airline is looking to expand, it going to look for new routes, if an airline is big enough and is not looking to expand it won't do it until the internal dynamics change.. I could also ask you why ATCL has not begun flying to Nairobi yet every chance Tanzanians get, they try to tell us that KQ will die if Tz deny us landing rights ... If the route was so lucrative why hasn't your airline seen sense in flying here??? On the Other hand, why did the revived Uganda Airline paid priority to the Nairobi route first before anywhere else??? So just because KQ gave priority to the NY route doesn't mean Delta would immediately chunk out planes to reciprocate, they will get there when they get there based on their own internal dynamics. Why has Delta Airlines, AA never set foot in nairobi either for cargo or passangers?
