Al-Jazeera swahili channel is very dangerous for East African and their unity..


Ever since it's launch, Al Jazeera English has seen abundant applauses and controversies. There is little doubt that it differs in it's attitude and point of view from the other major TV News media outlets such as the BBC and CNN. It has created the impression of a professional, different and bold news agency. Even among the liberals in the United States are afraid that Al Jazeera might change. Very few people doubt now that AJE has carved a niche for itself in importance just beside BBC and CNN.

The imperial powers did not like this rise. Al Jazeera was talking about subjects they did not want anybody to talk about. Because if the corrupt people are exposed, the West will loose out as they like using them for their own interests. In deed, at first, there was a well conceived propaganda to discard Al Jazeera as a terrorist mouthpiece, followed by persecution.

But the station has had to pay a high price for its independence and professionalism. Its offices in Kabul and Baghdad were bombed by the US; its Baghdad correspondent Tariq Ayyub was killed; its Kabul correspondent Taysir Alluni was arrested in Spain and charged with terrorism; and its cameraman Sami Alhajj was kidnapped in Kabul and continues to be held in Guantánamo Bay. Most notoriously of all, George Bush even suggested to Tony Blair that they bomb al-Jazeera's Doha headquarters.

However, Al Jazeera has stood the test, most of the world has acknowledged Al Jazeera as a legitimate and independent news channel. However, there are some people out there who don't want the channel at all. What purpose does it serve? This is the question I do not know an answer to.
It may be that some people do not want a dinosaur in their backyards. The East African media, by and large, are a tamed flock. They sometimes bark, but rarely bite. They race happily behind the government when tensions rise.

Suddenly a news channel that is not afraid of taking on the global giant such Exxon, may evantually become too much trouble to handle in East Africa in general and Tanzania in particular. Whatever may the actual reason be, the Governments do not want to admit it. It is up to us to demand that we be allowed to watch this channel that draws so much applause and awe. Al Jazeera can be a welcome break from the emperial attitudes of the western media. Aljezeera will be reporting from the unreported world often ignored by the like of CNN for the interest of the West. Rostam kaona mbali.

 

i hope now you know the truth about libya,if not,tune to any tv station of your choice and you wont blame al jazeera next time

But You are also propagating in the interest of the existing media houses in an attempt to prevent more comprtition
 
Let the media (including Al Jazeera) reports and the audience will decide.
Nobody has ever said that RTD and TBC are dangerous!!

Umesikia uongo wa hawa jamaa ? Wamesema wao aljazeera na wameshhuhudia kwamba saif al gadhafi na muhamad gadafi wamekamatwa kumbe ni uwongo wao, kwa nini waseme uongo? Wao ni channel ya nje ya libya kwa nii wawe upande wa rebels na nato? Kwa sababu hii ni channel inatumiwa kuharibu nchi zote ambazo hazima mfumo wa kisultani amabao ni puppets, hawa ni hatari sana wa kuogopwa kuliko ukimwi.

Mie sikuelewa, kumbe kuna watu wanaogopa kusikia ukweli na kwa hivyo yeyote atakayesema ukweli hatakiwi na jamii nzima kwa sababu yao? Hata CHADEMA wakisema kitu wanalaumiwa sana kwamba wanazua mambo, wanatengenezewa sababu za kutungiwa sheria kuwabana.

Baadaye kidogo walewale wanajikuta wanaaanikwa madudu yao njenje. Acha wasema kweli waje watuamshe usingizi, maana zamani kusema ukweli ilikuwa dhambi isiyosamehewa. Chochote kisemwacho na watawala ndio uliokuwa ukweli uliopaswa kuzingatiwa. Leo hii CCM nywiiiiiiii na wanagombana wenyewe. Tutasikia mengi sana kuelekea 2015.

Karibu sana Aljazeera Kiswahili. Waje tuwaone. Wakisema uwongo si tutawaambia?

Safi sana mkuu..tbc wanaelekezwa na jk waongee nini..cheki kina orijino komedi wanavyopotea, kipindi wapo eatv walikuwa wakiisema serikali ndio maana tukawapendepa..al jazeera naomba muanze kurusha habari zenu haraka tena tutafaidi kumwona dr slaa akimwaga sumu laivu kwenye kila maandamano
 
Mlizoea kutumia carrot and stick kwa local media. Haya sasa al jazeera hao wanatia timu hawanunuliki hao. Lazima kijasho chembamba kiwatoke, no price tag hapo wana mihela ya kutosha hao, mission yao ni moja habari kama ilivyo inamwagwa. Natamani matangazo yao yaanze hata asubuhi hii.
 
Upepo wa mabadiliko hauzuiliwi kwa propaganda za faulo kama hizi! Aljazeere ya kiswahili inakuja upende usipende!

Huo upotoshaji ulifanywa na viongozi wa waasi wa Libya, na sio AJE pekee walioripoti ni vituo vingi.,na habari za serikali ya Libya hazitoki kwa kuwa hakuna media yoyote ya nje inayoruhusiwa kuripoti toka maeneo yaliyokuwa yakishikiliwa na serikali ya Ghadafi...kwa hali hiyo huwezi kuwa na hisia zako ukataka ziwe sahihi.
Kuhusu AJE, kwakua viongozi wengi hawapendi mambo yao ya nyuma ya pazia yajulikane basi washaanza kuihofia..

Duh! kumbe Aljazeera Swahili -East Africa imeletwa na RA? Au ulimaanisha nini mkuu @ EMT.
 
kwa hapa tulipofikia na haya mambo ya bongo bora ije tu tutapata akili mi nahisi waje tu wachochee mambo watu waamke wamelala mno mpaka wanasikitisha....
