American RnB singer Chris Brown kicked off his journey to Kenya on Friday afternoon for his much-anticipated concert in Mombasa scheduled for Saturday 8th October.
The American singer embarked on the maiden trip to Kenya from the US aboard a classy private jet.
On his Instagram, the Superstar, who will be in the country for the first time, posted to inform his fans that he was already en route to the continent.
“Jet set. Africa...on the way,” the artist posted.
The 27-year-old is expected to land in the country later on Friday night or early Saturday morning.
On Saturday, Breezy will be performing at the Mombasa Golf Club alongside Nigeria's Wizkid, Ali Kiba, Baby Cool and Sauti Soul in the event dubbed [HASHTAG]#MombasaRocks[/HASHTAG].
The show is expected to be biggest held in East Africa in 2016, with unverified reports indicating that the sponsors will be splashing about Sh150 Million for the concert.
Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has hyped the event urging partygoers to get their own tickets as he had already acquired his.
The tickets are going for Sh10,000 regular, Sh20,000 VIP and Sh5,000 for advance tickets.

Well, the big moment is here and Chris Brown has finally arrived in the coastal town of Mombasa, where he is being received by the event planners, with a strong 21-member entourage and an escort awaiting him at the Mombasa International Airport.

American R&B star Chris Brown smashed a fan's mobile phone when she tried to take a selfie with the singer on his arrival at the Moi International Airport, Mombasa, on Saturday.
Speaking to the Nation, the fan, who said she was “deeply disappointed by the artist’s action,” wondered why Brown, a renowned singer, grabbed her phone and threw it away, landing on the floor.
“I was with my friends and was trying to take a selfie when he grabbed the phone from the back. I was shocked.
"I have a ticket for the show but I won’t attend it. Brown should know that we like his songs but he has to respect his fans,” she said.
“I bought my iPhone 6 last month at Sh90,000 and seeing it being tossed off like a mulika mwizi (a cheap feature phone) was bad.
"Although it is only the screen protector and back cover that broke, I cannot imagine how I would have felt had it been damaged,” added the fan, who said she did not want her name mentioned.
Mr Brown had just landed in Mombasa for his much anticipated show tonight.
A ticket to the show is going for Sh5,000 per person.
