Instrumentation Engineering inahusika na Instruments kama sensors/transmitters (Level, pressure, temperature, flow, ph etc). Hizi Instruments zinatumika na control systems kama inputs/outputs kwa ajili ya kucontrol plant yako ili kupata matokeo unayoyataka.
Instrumentation Engineer/Technician ata deal na kuinstall, calibrate, troubleshoot hizi instruments ili ziweze ku measure process variables kama Temperature, pressure etc kwa ufanisi zaidi. Kwa ujumla ipo hivyo.
Hizi instrument zinatumika kwenye field tofauti kama power system, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing Industry, Mining, Cement, chemical Industries, Bulidings etc.
