During the 1980s and 1990s, the acronym ATC standing for Any Time Cancellation was coined to reflect what was actually happening on the ground in terms of the operationalization of the national airline, Air Tanzania Corporation. It was marred by frequent travel cancellations.
Lately, these frequent travel cancellations have become a normal operand for Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL). Imagine a traveller booked for 5 a.m. and ends up trabmvelling at 10 a.m., resulting in missing important appointments.
It has now become a common practice for travellers from KIA to Dar or Zanzibar, who are frequently subjected to this orthodox and uncultured practice. ATCL, please wake up and stop operationalizing your travels without considering the concerns of your passengers. Please adopt the realms of modernity.
