[h=6]Sikika seeks to recruit District Coordinators for Iramba, Kiteto, and Simanjiro with
immediate effect.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with partner organizations in the day-to-day delivery of Sikika
activities.
... Implement all activities from all Sikikas departments (Health Governance and
Finance, Medicines and Supplies, Human Resource for Health and HIV & AIDS)
at facility and community levels.
Establishing cordial working relationship with Office of the DC and LGA and
incharges of health facilities.
In coordination with Dodoma Coordinator organize and attend meetings with
stakeholders such as dialogue platforms, public hearing etc
Represent Sikika in all health related events in the respective district.
Write and submit weekly, quarterly, midyear, annual and other reports to the
Dodoma Coordinator
Work with Community Development Officers, District Executive Officers, Ward
Executive Officers, Village Executive Officers, and Village Chair Persons to
ensure smooth outreach of Sikika's activities including participation of Community
groups and all stakeholders in radio programs organized and broadcasted by Sikika
Requirements and Key competencies: (a) At least a Bachelor degree in Community
Development, Sociology, Public Health, Development Studies or any other related field b) At
least 3 years of work experience and coordination in rural areas (Kiteto/Simanjiro experience
preferred)(c) Excellent writing, communication skills and computer literate (d) Ability to ride a
motorbike as a means of daily transport (with valid motorbike license) e) Must be fluent in both
Kiswahili and English; speaking at least one vernacular languages will be an added advantage.
