Can someone explains to me, why World leaders (with exception of Museveni) are mum on congratulating UK on his Presidential win? Can the World leaders be fair enough and congratulate Uhuru's win? How about the European, SADC election observers teams review on the election process?
The need for approval is what causes the West to see us as needy. The man has won, will congratulations from other leaders increase or decrease his legitimacy? Or is it an African thing not to feel you have won until you are praised by foreign leaders?
PS: JK has congratulated him already.
The body language from our global partners isnt comforting. I smell KENYA will be in deep sh*t soon.
Kabaridi, rem me telling u that oil wont be extracted? Trust me it wont even if the britons are on it.
jakogello has not even given his congratulatory message yet. It hard to picture what is actually running in his mind. If the world will make it difficult for kenya to extract and sell its oil, we have still a chance to make it.
Aih bwana let us give the man at the helm a chance. we have been apprehensive but it looks as if every challenge will be turned into an opportunity for growth hehehehe!
You guys, stop running around the cycle aginst UHURU KENYATTA's victory! UHURU Kenyatta was born in 60's so do American, UK, DR cOngo, malaysia, Senegal South Corean, mexico and somali's president. So why should kenyans elect an old fella like Nalaila Odinga? we no longer need old is gold!!!!!!! GJK! good job kenyans! Kenysns please disregard those world leders who are negative about UHURU's win over Oginga. Those people who snub at Kunyatta,s son victory are communists, Jews haters, tyranical rulers, anti western civilizations, supporter of Hugo Chaves, supporter of Fidel Castro and ahmedinejad.

Look at the bigger pic, Kenyas leadership our biggest bargaining chip is literally being put to test, we made the error and we have to live with it. The moment we elected a president facing war crimes and counts of henious murders this is wat we were setting stage to. Its not like we need their approval, we need business with them, somewhat a friendship that guarantees Kenya a future.

US President Barack Obama on Saturday
said Kenya was a dangerous destination
for international reporters.
In a speech in Washington to US
journalists and political leaders, Mr
Obama said in regard to foreign
correspondents.
"They've risked everything to bring us
stories from places like Syria and Kenya,
stories that need to be told," he said.
Mr Obama did not explain why he coupled
Kenya with Syria, a country devastated by
a civil war that has killed some 70,000
people.
His remark was part of his speech at a
dinner sponsored by the Gridiron Club
and Foundation.
The annual event serves as an occasion
for a US president to make humorous
comments about politics and the media.
Mr Obama followed that tradition on
Saturday night, but toward the end of his
speech, he told the audience, "Now, I do
want to end on a serious note."
He then prefaced his comment about
Kenya and Syria by saying to the
journalists in attendance, "the truth is our
country needs you and our democracy
needs you."
