Askari Polisi huyu wa Kenya ametoa yake ya moyoni!

THAT AWKWARD MOMENT...
That awkward moment when you are traveling via public means and after passing a traffic checkpoint everybody starts explaining the evils of police officers. How they are dogs, how they are thiefs, corrupt and deserve to die. Some even offer unsolicited comparison with Ugandan and Tanzanian policemen.

How kenyan policemen are evil compared to their counterparts. You look at the person and start wondering whether he has ever crossed any international boarder or they are just hallucinating! They go on to say how the children of policemen can never make it in life.

You Are like, why are we hated this much? Are we dogs really? You stand just to confirm whether you have that hairy organ used by the cat family to wade away stubborn flies but to your delightment, you do not have a tail.

You remember your friend Ndwiga who was gunned down recently by thugs while protecting the same citizens that are now calling you dogs. You remember Pkemoi who is now mentally unstable after being bitten by a snake while in Turukana. You remember Mutiso who was burried just last week after contacting pneumonia while serving in the cold foot of Abardare ranges in Kipipiri. You remember kipmimi who was stoned to death in kisumu.You remember the many times you have used your own money to ferry a suspect from the remotest part of Chemolingot to Kabarnet.You remember the many times you are away from your family protecting other families..

Many thoughts are passing through your mind, do I abuse them back? Do I apply what I learnt in my basic martial arts, do I alight from the vehicle? At this point you receive a revelation, a revelation that in our profession we are treated by citizens like a spare wheel, being remembered only when people are in trouble and immediately we sort them out they forget about us.

This is the sad reality but it should not pull us down but rather it should encourage us to work even harder.

This is a noble profession that needs a lot of dedication and commitment even if those we serve don't appreciate our efforts, God sees and he will reward us abundantly.

Tatizo raia wanawachukulia polisi kirahisirahisi sana,wanasahau mema ambayo wanayatenda.Hii yote inatokea kwasababu wanaishi nao kwenye jamii nakujua baadhi ya mambo ambayo sio rahisi kuyajua kwa mtu ambaye ni mwanajeshi kama wa JWTZ na majeshi ya nchi nyingine.Watu wanatakiwa kujua umuhimu wa kazi inayofanywa na polisi mbalimbali waadilifu ambao kazi yao inawafanya muda mwingine kufa kwaajili ya maisha ya raia.

Polisi wanafanya kazi ngumu sana. Na inapaswa ithaminiwe, japokuwa nao kuna vitabia flani wanapaswa kuviacha ambavyo huleta kero ktk jamii (mfano rushwa)

Hakuna asijua umuhimu wa polisi, tatizo ni kwa wale wachache wanaochafua hali ya hewa na ndiyo maana wengine wanafukuzwa kwa kukiuka maadili ya jeshi.

hakuna kiumbe mnyanyasaji kama polisi ndomana anachukiwa hayoyote aliyoyasema hapo wangekuwa wanafanya fare na kufuata sheria wala wasingechukiwa hivi,wewe unakamatwa leo hata kwakosa dogo ambali dhamana kwa tanzania ni mtu mmoja mwenye kitambulisho na barua ya mwenyekiti au kosa lakujidhamini mwenyewe lazima uwape hela,ukizubaa una pewa kesi ya bangi kama sio ujambazi..!alafu polisi ni mabingwa wa kuvunjia watu heshima bila kujali status yako sasa kwa tabia hizi nani atawapenda

Kwa ujumla wao wanafanya kazi nzuri lakini kuna baadhi yao wanafanya mambo ya kishenzi dhidi ya raia ambayo yanawahalibia sifa polisi wote!!!

The problem is yu. Yu have created this problem because yu are ordered to go and harass the ordinary citizen just because he/she is against the politicians and yu just pick the club + amour + tear gas and mask and go and shambulia the wananchi who are as harmless. Just because yu want to please them politicians. Shame on yu people of the uniform/ our uniform so to speak because we bought them for yu. Even the clubs yu use + the tear gas. Shame on yu kabisa

Munasimamisa ngari na ku ask for money ambaso hata hamukusifania kasi. Bribe bribe bribe na kuchasa matumbo senu tu

Unavyosema tunawachukulia kirahisirahisi nauku hiyo kazi nduo wameichagua wenyew awakulazimishwa kufanya iko kaz ni mapenz yao wenyewe ni sawa sawa unasema mwanamke anapata tabu kwenye kuzaa tuwaonee huruma....... ndio wajibu wao huo walioychagua
