Recently African Heads of State, passed a resolution questioning the objectivity of ICC and calling for Kenyan Cases to be returned to Africa. This could set the stage for major fallout on the ICC. But the West, to whom this threat is directed,excels in misreading developments in Africa to its detriment. Can the West Afford to misread this one? Is Africa serious?

While not necessarily supporting the return of ICC cases to Kenya, i fully support the stand of our African leaders on matters of African concern. At no time should the west or indeed any other power dictate matters to us Africans. We are independent and we should be treated with respect however poor we may be as a continent.

Let the prosecutor be warned lest they forget that African states form the bulk of majority of (over 90%) membership of the rome statues and the ICC will lose its relevance on the African scene if they opt out..

The Syrian government was to go down but i think the whole operation by America into Syria was poorly informed and seeing the manner Qaddafi went down, Syria bolstered their turf. Hehehe funny times indeed, where ones came into power via the ballot and exited by bombardments

Sawa, lakini hapo niliposisitiza kwa rangi nyekundu ndio tunapotofautiana. Mada inahusu kama Africa inaweza kuendelea kutoheshimiwa iwapo itaonyesha kuwa na nguvu. Kigezo kimojawapo cha nguvu hizo ni kuweza kuenzi na kutukuza lugha asili badala ya kuendelea kutumia lugha za kizungu ili kujieleza, hususan kama mimi na wewe wote tunajua Kiswahili!

Kigezo kimojawapo cha nguvu hizo ni kuweza kuenzi na kutukuza lugha asili badala ya kuendelea kutumia lugha za kizungu ili kujieleza, hususan kama mimi na wewe wote tunajua Kiswahili!

Agreed. However in Kenya, Kiswahili is not as well developed as it is in Tanzania, except in the coastal region. This is despite the fact that it is the national language. The reason for this is that many teachers actually ignored the language choosing instead to use English hence you will find most of us freely expressing ourselves in this foreign language which is a shame actually. We would all love to have Kiswahili developed to the extent it is in Tanzania. Meanwhile bear with us, we shall get there.

These days,,,,these people are seeing things they never thought would
ever happen,,,,and,,'not in Africa' as they say.

First,,,they wanted to select,,as they do very do every day,,
around the world,,,the president for Kenya.

We showed them that it was Kenyans to decide.

Let us be Frank!

1. It is Kenyans who requested ICC to let the cases be brought to The Hague.. that they do not trust Kenyan Judiciary! For two years Ocampo advised Justice to be done within Kenya..but Kenyans did not listen!

2. Today it is the same Kenyans who are saying let now the cases be heard in Kenyan Courts!



Ona hata Lugha yetu ya Kiswahili sisi wenyewe Waafrika hatuiamini na tunaona Kiingereza ndo mali!! Je ni nani wa kumlaumu hapo?? Ni ICC??
