Atheism and other religions should be treated equally in Tanzania!

I think the issue is about treatment of Government over its citizens. This isn't about beliefs people have, rather the obligation of government on treating its people as equals.
Religion is something private, government has no obligation to support it because at least from the Constitution of Tanzania, our country is purely secular state. Then, why should we have these formal prayers during public ceremonies. This is unjustified on the ground of equality.

mleta uzi andhania yuko ulaya na marekani hapa This is Tazania!!

Haya ni mambo ambayo katiba inasema, hizi ni principles anbazo watu hawaziangalii kwa umakini. Sio swala la ulaya. Usawa na haki sio swala la ulaya bali nilakila jamii ya binadamu

Perhaps you are mistaken about atheism. I tell that from your comment.
Anyway the topic was not about atheism rather equal treatment to all citizens.

If Government leads people with different values and feelings, then why should the government favor some feelings or values over the others. It should be neutral.

I don't think you can show any situation where the Govt. has restricted a particular faith that wanted pray or say something from doing so during any public gathering.

The govt. does not say "only Christians and Muslims" are allowed to pray today.

Try it.

If you have a faith other than Christianity or Islam, make that request. Ask for your faith's invocation during a public meeting and see if they are going to deny you.

Faith is something private, why can't people perform in their closed doors. In public we don't need religion. This is the stand of the constitution.

Atheism is believing there is no god? TZ hakuna watu wa hivyo we have traditionalists who pray to God through their ancestors and the state recognizes them

Are you sure we don't have such people?
We have many of them.

During the start of any bunge session the speaker of the assembly prays to god. To whom god do the speaker refers to?

Others say atheism is not a religion but a believ. But religion is simply a belief. Both believe in god of some sort. Is god of the musilims the same as that of the christians? At the start of bunge sessions they pray to god. To whom god do the speaker pray to? A universal god?

atheist bwana sasa which equality you want bunge and other social government gatherings should not start with prayers or what if atheist had prays that should do it but everything is perfect as it is no any adjustments needed..

Your presumption about atheism is unwarranted.
