[h=1]Athletics-Kenya's marathon queen Jeptoo fails second doping test[/h]Fri Dec 19, 2014 9:48pm GMT

NAIROBI Dec 19 (Reuters) - Kenyan Rita Jeptoo, winner of the Boston and Chicago marathons for the last two years, has tested positive for a banned substance in a B sample taken after she failed an out-of-competition check in September.

"The results of the analysis of the B sample which was conducted on 17th to 19th December 2014 at the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency} accredited laboratory of Lausanne confirmed the finding of the A sample," Athletics Kenya said in a statement on Friday.

Jeptoo, provisionally suspended from athletics after the A sample tested positive, had asked for a B check. She told reporters at the time that the accusation was false.

Dozens of Kenyan athletes have failed doping tests in the past two years.

Government officials have blamed the growing amount of cases on foreign agents and Athletics Kenya's failure to educate its sportsmen and women properly.

The country's triple world 3,000 metres steeplechase champion Moses Kiptanui has called for tough sanctions against those who fail doping tests, saying "big money" was behind the cheating. (Writing by James Macharia, editing by Tony Jimenez)

[h=3]SHAME ON ATHLETICS TANZANIA FOR BREAKING ALL (IAAF) RULES, MOSCOW PERFORMANCE WAS A BURDEN OF PROOF[/h]Posted by Wilhelm Gidabuday Labels: Athletics

[/TR]
[/TABLE]

It was 20[SUP]th[/SUP] of May 2012 in Morogoro when Athletics Tanzania elected the structure of leadership, things looked okay in the outside world but what IAAF doesn't know is that ‘CONSTITUTION' was not used in the process. ‘Powerful people handpicked their choices regardless of prerequisites or backgrounds'.

[h=1]ABUSE OF POWER:Anthony Mtaka was elected PRESIDENT OF AT; he was way ahead of others based on his current position in the government as District Commissioner for Mvomero District in Morogoro Region where the elections were held. In order for this ‘conspiracy' to go soft, Tanzania Olympic Committee was the first institution to command the way forward. First of all they suggested that "we do not need to use AT constitution" one top official suggested and was quick to get the approval from the rest of them (committee).[/h]
[h=1]MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: Well planed preparations was set prior to the Election Day, the venue was surrounded by private security officers to apprehend anyone who will dare question anything about the constitution. So they carried their illegal Elections and announced the list of new leaders. ‘Shamefully National Sports Council did not condemn the illegal process, perhaps because the District Commissioner had to be covered up'.[/h]
[h=1]MORE IAAF RULES WRECKED: Athletics Tanzania has been running its program against the IAAF calendar, for example last year ‘National Athletics Championships' was held after the London Olympic Games. Again this year the National Athletics Championships is expected to be held August 24[SUP]th[/SUP] 2013. Former athletes are left asking many questions; why is this happening?. "DON'T ASK DON'T TEL".[/h]
[h=1]FUNDS FROM IAAF: Every time IAAF funds arrive; is the HARVEST TIME for Athletics Tanzania, the president convenes the meetings in Morogoro while AT office is in Dar Es Salaam. ‘IAAF should really come to see the AT office then compare the value of the funds they offer yearly to Tanzania.[/h]
[h=1]A CRY TO IAAF: Because the evidence of what is said above is available and is beyond the reasonable doubt, perhaps the time has come for IAAF to come to Tanzania and conduct its own investigation to verify the claims, and if the allegations are found to be incriminating IAAF must take appropriate action against Athletics Tanzania and those involved in such a ‘corrupt way of running athletic institution.[/h]
[h=1]‘That is the reason why Tanzania has not performed well for the past several years, it is because Tanzania Athletics is under the illegal leadership that is totally against IAAF rules, and such leadership is no different to the Mafia Mob Group. I HAVE DECIDED TO TELL THE TRUTH TO THE WHOLE WORLD; COME WHAT MAY'.[/h]

[h=2]Bayi blasts Tanzanian federations for lack of success[/h]
Filbert_2520Bayi.1.jpg
May 30 - Filbert Bayi (pictured), the former world 1500 metres world record holder, has blamed the national federations in Tanzania for the country's recent lack of international success.

Bayi is now the general secretary of the Tanzania Olympic Committee (TOC) and has hit back at criticisms aimed at them after they again failed to win a medal at the Games in Beijing last year.

It was their seventh consecutive Olympics without a medal.

In fact, Tanzania have only ever won two Olympic medals since making their debut as Tanganyika at Tokyo in 1964.

David Kiprono claimed the Men's 42.2km category after clocking 2 hours, 13 minutes and 57seconds to take home a TSh 6m prize in cash prize (Approx.US $ 3,922) from the race's main sponsors Tanzania Breweries Limited. Kiprono said shortly after the annual event that he was delighted to finally win the race after three appearances.

Some of them opted to cheer foreign athletes who put up an impressive show .
Tanzania minister for Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, Emmanuel Nchimbi, voiced disappointment over the local athletes' poor show at the event."It is very embarrassing to see our athletes falter at their own home soil and before their supporters," the Minister said before handing over prizes to the winners.

Tujitete kwa Kenya kwa lipi? Nyie mliisha chagua kuwa vibaraka, we know that, sasa tujitetee kwenu ili iwe nini. Inaonyesha jinsi ulivyo mtupu kichwani, hata hapa upo kwenye blog ya Watanzania mbona huendi kuandika pumba zenu kwenye blog ya Kenya. Hiyo tu inaonyesha your inferiority complex. Amka wewe kuwadi wa waingereza ambao wanakutumia kama toilet paper, when the need is gone they flush you in the toilet.

Vipi bado unatumia flying toilets au siku hizi umejisahihisha kidogo na kuwa mstaarabu hasa baada ya kujiunga na hii forum?
