best valentine's gifts? original ideas?

[h=2]Valentine's day is coming up and I would like to give the guy I'm dating something special..something that would make him think of me but I just don't know what. He is not my boyfriend yet (almost) but we r only dating each other. It is hard since I don't want to give him something that is too like special since we r not going out yet. I was thinking about something simple like a card, candy but I want to give him something romantic or cute. Like a bracelet, a necklace? I don't know...what should I give him?[/h]
