Read John Chapter 9.
¹As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him
Yaani huwa nawaza sana kama kusingekuwa na this what we call 'myth' watu wangekuwa Na kiburi Na jeuri kwa kiasi gani? Walau tunaogopa
Kuna point mbili muhimu hapo.
1.God loves to see people suffer for his own gratification.
2.Without God, there would be chaos.
Point 1 proves that there is no loving god, the concept of an all powerful, all knowing and all loving God is bs. The Bible says so in the verses you quoted. Had he been all loving, because he is all knowing and all powerful, he would have found a way to create a Universe without evil and suffering.
Point 2 is true up to a point. Perhaps to a large extent, the hoi polloi needed something to believe in in order to keep them in line. But we have evolved now. We are supposed to have strong governments, education and human moralities. These ought to be able to guide us based on truth, not myths. Besides, lacking belief in God does not make one a bad person. I am an atheist, I havent killed anyone. There are people in Syria and Iraq who kill on a regular basis in the name of God.
Your post is eye opening in that it provides scriptural evidence on how the God idea is self contradicting (how can an all loving, all powerful and all capable God allow such suffering to exist just so he is glorified? If a human being ruler did this we would take him to ICC,
why do we have a lower standard for God than for Uhuru Kenyatta? ). The other point is, moral living need not be the monopoly of religion, humans can establish and enforce a system that promotes good, sensible and practical morals that are human centred and do not need a deity.
