No matter the size of the business there is always a room for improvement.

Business restructuring is the process of addressing efficiencies; cost-wise and operational wise with objective of optimizing resources utilization, minimizing cost maximizing profitability or minimizing loses without compromising excellence and quality of services of product.

Change management is the process of introducing a new way of doing things in organizing by ensuring that there is overall acceptance and adaptation with minimal disruptions while improving the overall performance.

Both change management and Restructuring are met with opposition and criticism since it is impossible for everyone to come aboard with every decision made.

In small business setting change comes when the business environment changes due to regulatory changes,market changes due to competition as well as due to management changes.All change no matter how small needs to be well managed and hence the need for Change management Consultant as well as Turnaround consultant.

While their roles and functions differ these tasks tend to be requiring similar in approaches.

A change management expert comes in when there is a serious operational changes that require a buy in from all stake holders and which may affect all stakeholders in the company.To ensure that everybody is on board and that every one takes part in the change process it is important to employ the services of a consultant.

It is also important to ensures that management has the necessary knowledge and skills to manage changes in the organization as poor change management skills might lead to dissatisfaction from,employees,customers and other players.It is important to manage changes effectively.

The key to any change management process is information exchange/communication.The management should be able and ready to provide all the relevant information to all involved people to ensure that they empowered to make the necessary decisions about the work,career and life.
