Elections 2010 CCM cadre arrested

Police in Same district are holding a Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) cadre for reportedly campaigning at a polling station.

The CCM member, Issa Omary Kajiru, 61, was arrested at 8.30 am at Padeco polling centre. He was holding a ballot paper showing names of candidates.

The Same District Commanding Officer (OCD), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Richard Mwombeki, confirmed the arrest of Kajiru saying police were investigating the incident.
