CCM contest for speaker and deputy schedule

The ruling political party, chama cha mapinduzi (CCM) has called called all party members who believe that they can meet the qualification to come forward and take forms for the seat of the speaker of national assembly. Party announced its schedule for taking forms for its members seeking party nomination for parliamentary positions. The united Tanzania republic parliament speaker and deputy speaker.

Timetable has two categories, CCM members who are not members of parliament seeking consent to contest for speaker should collect forms from November 11, 2015 to November 12 at CCM Lumumba offices Dar es Salaam.

For CCM members who are also members elect of parliament have extended deadline, submission date will be November 14, 2015. The outgoing speaker was Anna Makinda after ruling party decision to priorities women to the role after Samuel Sitta one term administration. Forms will be provided by party secretary (organization), Mr Mohamed Seif Khatib.

we are entering another phase in our politics, a strong Speaker is what is needed, there will be alot compromises, what is important is for ordinary citizens to benefit through effective representation by their MPs.

We dont want to waste more time on petty things and tactical Parliament distractions like the ones we witnessed in the last Parliament term.
