The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission this morning snubbed summons, to appear before the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee, despite receiving notice to do so, six days ago.
The IEBC, through its chairperson, Wafula Chebukati, notified the committee in writing, that due to the ongoing by-elections, they were unable to attend. The Committee says they will issue a new date for next week. The Minority leader in the National Assembly, John Mbadi, says the three remaining commissioners should not be allowed to leave.
