Chris Kirubi in GTV buyout Deal

Kenyafootball.com has learnt that industrialist, business magnate and billionaire tycoon Chris Kirubi has expressed an intention to buyout the Gateway Television Sub-Saharan Business operation.

According to sources, Kirubi is leading a pack of five (5) investors who are keen of capturing the TV rights for the English Premier League and dispatch them to consumers using the existing GTV infrastructure.

Kirubi, commonly known as DJ CK due to his love for disc-jockeying at his CapitalFM radio station is also the force behind CNBC Africa’s Kenyan operation. The station transmits on a free-to-air basis.
