Bwawa la kwetu hapa lilipata vizuizi vingi siyo kwa sababu ya ukubwa wa mradi bali ni kwa sababu ya mbuga ya wanyama. Huko Congo, nako kuna mazingira ya hivyo hivyo?
Halafu ufahamu kuwa ukubwa wa DRC unazidi ukubwa wa Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi na Rwanda ukiziweka kwa pamoja.
Ukubwa wa eneo lote la Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi na Rwanda ni square kilometres 1,862,903, wakati DRC pekee ni square kilometres 2,344,858.
Hivyo, hako kaeneo ka kujenga bwawa, kwa Congo ni nukta.
Congo ina misitu mingi minene eneo kubwa la nchi, ambayo haijawahi kuguswa na mwanadamu tangu Ulimwengu uumbwe, ndiyo maana kuna maeneo hayajawahi kushuhudia ukame wowote. Hivyo hata wakijenga mabwawa ya kuzuia maji mengi, ni ngumu sana kuleta upungufu wa maji kwa wanyama, binadamu au kwa shughuli nyingine za kiuchumi.
