Twelve more patients have tested positive for coronavirus in Kenya raising the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 246.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, in a press briefing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, said the 12 were confirmed from 450 samples that had been tested by Friday morning.
CS Kagwe said among the 12 new patients are five hotel workers while four are from contact tracing. The Health CS was at JKIA together with Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and his transport counterpart James Macharia to receive a consignment of medical supplies from China.
