What future for Kenya having cargo locomotives moving at 80km/h in comparison to SA cape gauge at 120km/h? KR got it all wrong!Wewe Uhuru N umoja gautrain is built on a standard gauge track(1,435mm 4f 8(1/2).there is a reason they built a standard gauge despite having an extensive cape gauge,because it is the future,when it come to benefits ,you are outright ignorant to allege that it has zero benefits,my friend are you serious?look,that track runs parallel to the ben schoeman freeway from joburg all the way to pretoria,a section of the N1 freeway,that routes attracts a traffic of 157,000 vehicles per day,it is one of the most plied route in SA,the gautrain was built to reduce the vehicular haulage from that road to commuter trains,the following are some of the benefits of an improve commuter rail.it practically reduces the number of cars on the road since people opt for a faster train hence alleviating traffic jams,two,reduced number of cars on road means reduced carbon emmissions hence sustainable environment,three,sustained environment improves quality of life hence a healthy nation,four,a healthy nation means a productive nation,five,a productive nation means more jobs and the ripple effect goes on...

Hii project ya Tazara huwezi kui-compare with any railway project in Africa kutokana na historical relevance yake. Hii railway haikujengwa kwa sababu ya kuleta profits bali ilijengwa ili kunusuru nchi za kusini mwa bara la especially Zambia kutoka katika embargo ya Makaburu wa Afrika ya Kusini. Hii ndio iliwasaidia kutumia Dar Port ktk export na import zao. Kaburu na Portuguese waliwazuia kutumia Durban na Moputo ports.

The Zambian government contracted the Chinese, lazy-thought and glossed over details thinking they were granting consent to gernuine terms but the whole thing just morphed into modern day colonialism. China is now proposing to take over the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport should Zambia Government fail to pay back its huge foreign debt on time. The issue of whether Zambia posses the required economic muscle to repay that debt is in contention considering the amount involved. It’s typical of the Chinese strategy.
