Cost comparison SGR Kenya vs SGR Tanzania

You continue to show just how much you don't know....
1.Less axle load means more frequencies, more axle means less frequencies.
2. Ethiopia has double line for 105km but you know how we manage to have more carrying capacity than them? We have line 33-40 loop lines /passing stations just between Msa-Nrb alone, What that means is when timed/scheduled to the minute, trains can pass each other on the single track stopping for only 5 mins (with passenger trains given right of way) ---- That means we can achieve the same effect as having half the distance with double lines.

I have told here before there is something called "Operations Research" ... Just because something make sense in your small head doesn't make it true.... You actually have to do some complex calculations...

Lets say it takes 3 hours to fill up one Tanzanian 10,000 tonnes train, and it takes one hour to fill one Kenyan 4,000 ton train... By the end of the first hour, one of the Kenyan trains would be full and will leave for its destination, by the end of the second hour the next Kenyan train will also leave and have a head start, By the end of the 3rd hour, the Tanzanian train will now be full, but so will the 3rd Kenyan train... and since the Tanzanian Train is slightly faster it will reach its destination earlier.... But the first two Kenyans trains would have already reached their destination and started unloading cargo by then, and once they are done, they will start going back to pick more, By the time The Tanzanian train reaches its destination and starts unloading cargo, the third Kenyan train will get there before or less than an hour after you have unloaded all the cargo and at the end of the day, 3 Kenyan trains would have delivered 12,000 tonnes, while 1 Tanzanian Train would have delivered 10,000 tonns..... At the end of the year that will be 4,380,000 for Kenya and 3,650,000 for Tanzania...

👆👆 That is just but a simplistic example of how you end up with results which you never imagined when you tried to just think about such things without using a formula to calculate

Unaongelea kutoka matakoni 32kV=220kV? 😀 💩
Kama pia unataka kufundishwa hadi hesabu,

Hii ndo mathematical symbol ya Equivalent

Ama pia unaeza tumia hii symbol

As you can see there in the pic, N ={t,w,o} is equivalent to M = {2,1,4}, because they are both variables that contain a set of 3 characters.... But M and N are NOT equal because the set of characters in those variables are different!!!!

Equal - When two things are same or identical in amount or quantity, we call them as equal.

Equivalent - When two things cannot be compared directly, it is better not to call them equal. There is another word labeled equivalent that echoes this sentiment.

------------------
So in our case the Tanzanian 220kV TL is equivalent to the Kenyan 32kV TL in the sense that they are both Transmission lines, even if they have different purpose in their respective SGR.

.. hahaha, angalia unavyopatashida kujitetea, hio yote ni kwa sababu ya kutaka kuleta mifano ambayo ni out of context ili tu ionekane na nyie pia mnajenga TL ya SGR...

suppose our SGR was diesel like urs r u trying to say we wouldn't have signals n communication equipment installed?

If you did, That power line would have been constructed by TANESCO just like they are doing right now for the electrification of the SGR.... This is what I have been trying to tell you, and that is exactly why I compared your TL line with ours which was built by the contractors budget.

Athi River Station
This station is expected to have a transport capacity of 237,000 people while the maximum passengers in waiting room will be 250 by 2035.

Kibwezi
The station is expected to have a transport capacity of 135,000 people while the maximum passengers in waiting room will be 150 by 2035.

Miasenyi Station
The station’s passenger delivery volume is expected to be 119,000 while the maximum passengers in waiting room will be 150 in 2035.

Voi Station
The passenger delivery volume is expected to be 249,000 while the maximum passengers in waiting room will be 250 in 2035.

nilitegemea tu lazima kuwe na comment ya kujidefend! i heard there’s a idle station.. suswa sijui 🤷🏾‍♂️ ichoboy01 isn’t it?? .. no more comment on this!

Reli ilijengwa kubeba mizigo.

I can see you have true facts, but this thread is full of just show off, and insults but these are peoples of nowadays [emoji16]
