Naivasha ICD in earnest
They want to gain views na attention hao jamaa wa media
Do not compare the time of completion btn ur diesel sgr and Tz electric sgr, u have never built electric railways, just compare ur sgr to our mgr because they are the same.FACT
Tanzania:
sgr phase 1 (200 km) is incomplete three years later and late by a whole year(Has been at 60%-70% since last year june). No trains have been procured. The companies supplying materials to the contractor are going bankrupt.
GOT is now going to look for sgr financing(Commercial loan) from standard chartered bank and a consortium of other banks, excuse given for this massive delay is heavy rains from last year .The population actually bought this line of reasoning (In Kenya this baloney would be called out by the public).
Kenya:
Phase 1 (485 km) took three years to complete(on time) with Nairobi ICD expanded and upgraded. Phase 2A (125 km) completed on time and fully functional with Naivasha ICD constructed from scratch.14,000 trains in 1000 days since launch in 2017 with no delay, no accidents.
Carlsberg putting up a Kes 6 Billion factory in Naivasha special economic zone to take advantage of sgr and icd to export to the african market.50 other multinationals have booked space at naivasha special economic zone.
Mombasa special economic zone construction on track phase 1 to be completed in 2022 with Toyota as anchor tenant. 72 Japanese companies have expressed desire to put up shop in the special economic zone.
Planned Kisumu special economic zone will take raw materials from neighboring countries and add value to them then export to Africa.
Conclusion: Kenya is more strategic not just by building the sgr on time and on budget but also by putting up supporting industries in the special economic zones that will take advantage of the sgr. Carlsberg will export it's flagship brand from Naivasha to the rest of africa using the sgr to get to Mombasa and to get imports easily.
Toyota will use the sgr to transport vehicles from dongo kundu special economic zone to the hinterland for export to Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and mombasa port for export to the rest of africa.
Kenya is targeting to use the sgr to revamp and turbo charge manufacturing activity with the sgr at the centre of all operations not just to transport imports and transit goods to neighbors.
Very good answer, you can't compare time to complete construction of a technological inferior rail like the one the Chinese built for Kenya with the more technological advanced one been build in Tanzania.Do not compare the time of completion btn ur diesel sgr and Tz electric sgr, u have never built electric railways, just compare ur sgr and our mgr because they are the same.
Watakimbia humu we subiri uone [emoji3][emoji3]Mi nasubiri vitu kushushwa pale bandarini...huu uzi utawaka moto

So u want to tell us this will be the pass for cars, u Kenyans are very fuckin people the world has never seen[emoji116][emoji116]where is the electric train? You do not have it and not even thought of buying them.
Where is the track? It is not complete and stuck in the first 200 km meaning you have only 120 km of metal on the ground.
Incase you did not understand let me pump it into your sewer rat Tanzanian IQ.
Your sgr does not exist.
No electric trains, No power and an incomplete track.
You have not finished the first 200 km, for God's sake even a toddler will see you are a complete moron for comparing your hopeless project to an operational modern service.
Tanzanians truly you are the idiots of east africa.
Duh! Watu kama hawa nyuso zao zitainamishwa chini.where is the electric train? You do not have it and not even thought of buying them.

The first 200 km has a delay over 1 year and it seems all construction has slowed. You have not even procured trains. The contractor wants to import steel since your ony steel company went bankrupt while supplying your project, but your government will not let it import.Duh! Forget the trains just enough power to power the trains is not there and you are depending on another pipe dream dam.
You have not even started the process of buying trains. Your train stations are not yet complete
All this delay and it is only 200 km, Kenya took 3 years to build 485 km and 200 km is a problem to Tanzania.
Pipelines have stalled and the project is now in limbo. You are now begging everybody to forgive your debts
Get your house in order first before you compare yourselves to the third largest economy in sub saharan africa.
