Wewe unasema kwamba hatutumii double-stack na nimekuwekea evidence straight from Chinese sources halafu unakaa kimya. Nilikuambia wewe una wivu na Kenya.prove me wrong with facts! unless ham-scan doubledeck wagons!
▲ The SGR has dispatched 28 freight trains (14 pairs) including one double stack train on 21 March 2021. 2190 TEUs and 28,000 tons of goods were delivered on this day, setting a new record since the commencement of freight service.3月21日当日,蒙内铁路开行货物列车14对(28列),其中含双层集装箱列车1列,发送2190标准集装箱,货物发送量2.8万吨,创下蒙内铁路开通以来单日货运发送量历史新高。

Wacha kubadilisha topic. Hata MD wa KPA alisema kwamba Kenyan SGR inabeba double-stack from Mombasa to Nairobi. So hutaki source from Chinese people na hutaki source from Kenyan people so mbona niendelee kudebate na mtu anayetawaliwa na chuki dhidi ya Kenya?Wachina hawahawa 👇 ?
Kenya: Puzzle of Idle Sh2 Billion Giant SGR Cranes at Mombasa Port
Six giant cranes installed at the port of Mombasa to improve the loading and unloading of containers on the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) have never worked since they were brought in two years ago at a cost of Sh2 billion, the Sunday Nation can reveal.allafrica.com

I agree with you. SGR has serious potential and it's capacity can be increased even more. 14 pairs means 28 trips were made in one day. Wow, that is something magical. Meanwhile Ethiopian electric SGR is making less than ten trips a day. I am proud of our SGR regardless of what naysayers may say. It was the best choice for Kenya.I remember David Ndii falsely claiming that the SGR can only do a maximum of 8.7 Million tons p.a at current configuration, he has just been proven wrong and I will show you why in a minute.
Let me quote that report once more:
14 pairs of trains (of which only one was double stacked - we have the potential to make all of them double stacked! so the capacity to carry more cargo exist!) ferried 2190 TEUs setting a new record since the SGR freight service started operating.
Now, on that day of 21 Mar, the containers were available (demand) and that's why the SGR carried them, So now we know for sure that if demand for SGR was that high every single day, the SGR can carry at least 2190 TEUs every single day for a whole year!
2190 TEUs * 365 days = 799,350 TEUs p.a
If I remember correctly, Daresalaam port last year did about 750,000 TEUs which was about 15 to 16 million tons.. So we have the potential and capability to carry more cargo than what the entire Dar port handles with the current trains we have at the current configuration we have ..... So to all the naysayers who doubted Kenya SGR's carrying capacity 💉💉💉💉. If the demand was there we could do 22 Million tons without breaking a sweat! I forsee this record of 2190 TEUs in a day bieng broken over and over again every 2 to 3 months until we reach a point where this 2190 TEU is the average daily performance.

Chinese too at Africa Star railway Operation Company Limited r proud of symbiotic cooperation with Kenya Railways!I agree with you. Apart from having the only operational standard gauge railway in East Africa, we also have the biggest port in East Africa (Mombasa port) and the biggest green-field port under-construction in Africa ( Lamu port). We are also the biggest geothermal power generators in Africa and the biggest windpower generators in Africa. We also have the bussiest airport in East Africa. We have an 8 lane road completed in 2010 (Thika road) when your first 8 lane road is not complete (Kimara Kibaha road). Nairobi alone has more interchanges than the whole of Tanzania. Hebu list interchanges (built and U/C) za Nairobi na mie nikutajie idadi ya zilizojengwa na zinazojengwa tuone! Nina uhakika Dar is ahead of Nairobi at the moment 3 constructed, 3 U/C in BRT phase II n at least 4 in Kimara-Kibaha Highway while BRT phase III has just started and around 5 interchanges r to be constructed!Apart from having the only operational standard gauge railway in East Africa, we also have the biggest port in East Africa (Mombasa port) and the biggest green-field port under-construction in Africa ( Lamu port). Nimeona akisema eti Dar ina interchanges nyingi kuliko Nairobi alafu anataja interchange tatu. People joke too much. Kisumu yenyewe iko nazo tatu complete na mbili UC. My home village of Chavakali has an interchange, Eldoret has 2 under construction. Nakuru has 2, Mau Summit has 1, Kitale has 1, Meru has 1 and 1 under construction, Thika has 2, Mombasa several alafu mwengine anaturingia na tatu. People joke too much. Tell him Nairobi alonehas more than 20 complete interchanges with more under construction. Nairobi tayari ina more than 10 interchanges that are complete. Yaani hata naomba NairobiWalker aniambie Nairobi ina interchanges ngapi ambazo zipo complete maana idadi yenyewe ni kubwa. Nairobi expressway pekee itakuwa na interchanges kumi. Sasa sijui unaringa nini.Hebu list interchanges (built and U/C) za Nairobi na mie nikutajie idadi ya zilizojengwa na zinazojengwa tuone! Mind u Dodoma ringroad 110 km will have not less than than 4 interchanges!
Then Arusha bypass is to have another interchange
Then JPM Bridge in Mwanza is to have one interchange!
