About connecting to SGR kenya hilo halina mjadala ilikuwa kwenye mpango lakini Uganda atapata connection ya Tanzania either through Rwanda and Burundi or directly from Isaka.
Tz, Rwanda, Burundi and RDC are all going to use specs like those in Tz and TRC has been given the mandate by those countries to do Tendering and awarding of contractors on behalf of Burundi and DRC railway companies.
It will make alot of sense for Uganda to adhere to specs used by Tz, Burundi, Rwanda and RDC for seamless connection as far as cargo business is concerned in the great lakes region.
The way I see it cargo from Mombasa to Uganda diesel locomotives will be used and specs like those in Kenya will be observed but from Uganda to Rwanda Burundi RDC and Tanzania electric locomotives will be in operation and AREMA standards will be in operation
