Dr. David Ndii holds a PHD from Oxford University (Oxford has an alumni network of over 250,000 individuals, including more than 120 Olympic medallists, 26 Nobel Prize winners, seven poets laureate, and over 30 modern world leaders (President Bill Clinton, Myanmar Leader Aung San Suu Kyi, only female PM of India Indira Ghandi and 26 UK Prime Ministers, among them).

He also holds doctorate and master’s degrees in economics from the same university as well as a masters and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Nairobi.

The Rhodes Scholar and Eisenhower fellow co-founded the Institute of Economic Affairs, Kenya’s first independent policy think tank.

He advised the NARC administration on the Economic Recovery Strategy (ERS) credited with the post 2003 recovery of the Kenyan economy.

Ndii was also an Economic advisor to the Government of Rwanda and public finance expert to the Kenya constitutional review Committee of Experts (COE).

He also served as an economist with the World Bank and is ranked among the top world economists.

Which many of us here who have agured about our respective economies already know the figures of our PPP, so why do you need David ndii to tell you? Is your intellectual capacities that low?

Haihitaji kuwa na Elimu yoyote ya chuo kikuu ya kiuchumi ili kujua kuwa Kiuchumi Tanzania INAZAMA CHINI kwa kasi ya ajabu.

Hizi ni miongoni mwa sababu za wazi kwa kila mtu.
1/Hali ya kiuchumi kwa mtu mmoja mmoja ni ngumu kupita maelezo. Karibu kila mtanzania analalamika vyuma kukaza.

5/Serikali kiuchumi imekaa kwenye mwelekeo wa kufirisika (Rejea kauli ya CAG kuhusu kasi ya kukua kwa deni la taifa kunako hatarisha kuja kufirisika).

6/Sehemu kubwa ya miradi ya kimaendeleo karibu kila Halmashauri imekwama kabisa kwa sababu ya ukosefu wa pesa japokuwa imo kwenye bajeti ya serikali na ilishatengewa pesa.

Huyo jamaa kuna wakati alifanyia kazi serekali, the good thing about Kenya is that there is no shortage of Talent, He is not the only one with intellectual capacity to save Kenyans, alialikwa afanyie kazi serekali akakataa na kumtukana rais .....

We have other people just as qualified if not more than him working in government

The man in charge of Kenya’s money has turned down the offer to live in an expansive home in Nairobi’s Muthaiga and ride in a motorcade.
Dr Patrick Ngugi Njoroge, who took over as Central Bank of Kenya governor last week, will instead be housed in communal accommodation in Nairobi’s Loresho estate with his fellow members of Opus Dei (Latin Work of God), an institution of the Catholic church.
The institution teaches that everyone is called to holiness and that ordinary life is a path to sanctity. Most of its members are lay people, with secular priests under a bishop.
Dr Njoroge, who is turning out to be a man of exemplary modesty, has also turned down an office-issued high end smart phone, a bevy of security guards and three cars.
Central Bank governors have at their disposal a Range Rover, Mercedes Benz and a VW Passat.
When he was being vetted by MPs before his appointment by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Dr Njoroge was asked why he did not own property in Kenya and was still single at 54 yet his monthly salary at the International Monetary Fund was Sh3 million a month.
“Yes I don’t have a single asset here in Kenya and this is where I am at this point and it doesn’t mean that this how it will be forever. I subscribe to being very deliberate about that. This is my economic model and may be years after retirement, I would want to invest in other things. That should not mean I have any financial inabilities. It comes with the profession,” the country’s 9th Central Bank governor said.
He told the MPs that his lifestyle was a matter of choice and there was nothing unusual about it.
MPs approved his nomination, paving the way for his appointment, but not before making inappropriate offers to get him a wife.
In a country where appointment to public office is associated with opulence, demand for higher pay and motorcades, Dr Njoroge’s decision to pass up a chance to live in a house on two acres located in the city’s most exclusive suburb is a rare one.
Had he taken up the offer, some of his neighbours would have been former President Mwai Kibaki, the US ambassador, British high commissioner and former Attorney General Charles Njonjo.
The home has lawns and beautiful mature gardens, ideal for parties and official receptions and functions.

Binafsi huwa sijadili maoni ya watu kwenye Twitter, maana hayana utofauti wowote na maoni ya kila mmoja wetu humu. Hivyo ukileta uzi halafu uweke Twitter ndio chanzo chako, napita kimya.
Pili huyu Ndii ni mpinzani tena mwenye hasira na visasi dhidi ya serikali, hivyo lazima aongelee mabaya na kupindisha pindisha, maana takwimu zipo wazi tumewazidi Tanzania kwenye PPP na hata kwenye GDP.

Smart brains think alike. Dr. Njoroge was aganist intrest rate capping and so was Dr. Ndii, Uhuru overruled him and 1 year later it has devastated the financial markets..Uhuru is now running to parliament to repeal the law.
Dr. Ndii warned about borrowing, saying the country will start austerity measures like greece..Dr. Njoroge has also warned about borrowing expensively...And finally Rotich has admited that the country is broke. and he has sponsored an 80b auterity bill in parliament, petroleum VAT bill is also being finalised.
So why employ economists if you dont want to follow their advice?
