Its just difficult to believe if dictatorship can sit together with democracy,,,bt its pocble for that situation,,,, how dictatorship can be applied in democracy?..... most of us do thnk that democracy involve majority decissions over the state and on to be ruled,,,, this is wrong because in democracy only few have a power to decide to be done for the prosperity of the rulling party.

In my country for example,, this situation has been clearly shown,,,, its undeniable fact that in the presidential race in CCM itself LOWASSA was a leading racer bt what happened has remained blunders to his followers,,,even though some people do bleam on him ,,,, aaaah mr. Lowassa is tyranic and corrupt bt for me it doesnt matter because we have many corrupt leaders in our country, xo democracy is another type of dictatotorship do enlvove decissions of the minority those having political power.

You need to polish your understanding of Democracy!!

Mistake cannot justify a mistake. Your arguement indicate how General crime theory and Neutralization theory explain your personality. Please democracy does not mean what you ment! Yours resemble the decision taken by Plato to crusify Jesus on the cross because majority decided so!

It's not Plato but Pilate.

in democracy the minority always feel oppressed, that what you feel right now. but as great and old political analysts will say, democracy is not for everyone. if you want to enjoy democracy you need to follow the masses because if you dont, you will always feel oppressed and unheard!

That isn't democracy,it is a false notion of Democracy.
If it is true what you said then it follows that democracy is dictatorship of majority over minority. It is indisputable claim if the premises are right. I disgree with those proportions as false ones.

so if you disputes that democracy is not a rule by the majority, why do you vote?

I vote because it is my right, I should exercise it.
I haven't found any problem between voting and my understanding of democracy.

well, elections are held to find leader of majority in democratic state/country, while majority will enjoy and support their leader, the minority or commonly known as minorities will always live as sidelines. It is not because they are being sidelines but most will be critics of the majority elected leader.

HENCE i said, most people will see emergency of dictatorship in democracy (a la topic title) not because there is a dictator but because they feel they are pressing against a wall or policies implemented are not in their favour

Yes. Democracy is there to stay...! But I can assure you, democracy has been adapted by many countries and states to suit their 'shelter'. In so doing a lot of modes of democracy were generated. Tanzania as a country we have our own mode of democracy...!

This is not true because Democracy is a form of government where people treat themselves as partners.
The phrase implies that in a democratic country, majority have a limited influence. This means that Majority are bound with some principles. It is not a rule of majority as such rather a rule of majority governed with principles which majority ought to comply with.

so if you disputes that democracy is not a rule by the majority, why do you vote?

That's not the case for the zanzibar election. In zanzibar, Democracy is only when CCM win what ever means necessary! So do you think there is any need to vote there!

People will end up understanding that the so called Democracy never exist. It was brought just to manipulate the people. Reason why it was never mentioned in the Quran and all other books of Allah + the Bible. Do you believe God would have given you all guidance and leave behind how to choose your leaders? It's all in the Quran. Even the so called Islamic countries are afraid to practice it. Many stay with Kingdoms which are tyrannical and oppressive. Others go for Democracy which is corrupt and incompetent.
To come back to the point, Democracy is for fools. Think beyond the horizon and you will understand my point. If you can't then give yourself time and dig up any Democracy you believe in, and look behind the curtains.
Good luck.

Democracy of the ancient times in Anthens meant to justify oppression of the havenot this appllies in Tanzania at new times
