Do you realize how many mistakes you have made chasing the Tanzanian dream (Maisha Bora) that the society /government drums into your head through 7 years of primary education, 4 years of secondary school, 2 years of high school and 3 years of college? This Plan made it abundantly clear: Go to school, get a job, save 10 percent, be miserly, and, someday, you can retire rich, albeit, old, and give up on those grandiose ideas of freedom (you will always work 5 days a week just to get 2 days off if you are luck, but the smart one work when it's needed)
Kwa mujibu wa 35-year plan, tunatumia takribani miaka 16 hadi 18 kwenye elimu yetu na, tunabakiza miaka 35 tu ya kufanya kazi tukiwa na nguvu (kama utakuwa na bahati ya kupata kazi mara utakapofikisha miaka 25 na kustaafu ukiwa na miaka 60, nasema bahati kwani tunaambiwa wastani wa kuishi kwa mtanzania wa kawaida ni miaka 43)
Kabla sijaiweka Diary ya safari yangu, kielimu na kibiashara kwenye Jamvi hili, naomba niulize maswali machache? Je elimu yetu inatuandaa kukabiliana na changamoto za maisha? Je soko la ajira lilivyo Tanzania linaruhusu wanafunzi (wanachuo) kufanya kazi wakati wanasoma? Je elimu tunayoipata inatusaidia vipi kama wafanyabiashara? We have to do something people

Miaka 7-14 (Elimu ya Msingi)
So, early in life, I gave up on this idea of 35 year Plan. Nikiwa mtoto mwenye miaka 10 niliamua kuanza biashara ndogondogo (selling sugary delights, ice cream na karanga) huku nikijihusisha na ufugaji wa njiwa, sungura , kuku na mbuzi. The local mini supermarket was my targeted destination - the only things that motivated me out of the house those days. Luck me I made it after completing standard seven. When I had my own registered business, it was a great accomplishment for me. I finally was able to own something I was proud of, something which gave us our daily bread.
Nilichojifunza Shule
Kimsingi hakukuwa na kikubwa nilichojifunza kutoka shuleni ambacho kilinisaidia kwenye biashara yangu kwani zaidi ya toa, jumlisha, zidisha, gawanya, mambo mengi nilijifunza kwa baba mzazi nilipokuwa mdogo kwani naye aliyekuwa mjasiriamali (my first role model). Shuleni walishindwa kutufundisha hata namna ya kumhandle customer, (kitu ambacho kingekuwa na positive demonstrational effects) walishindwa kutufundisha kwani mwalimu mwenyewe akiingia darasani amenuna na mzigo wa fimbo ikiambatana na mikwara mingi (sijui wanategemea wanafunzi wajifunze nini kwenye haya matendo yao.
Miaka 15-18 (Elimu ya Sekondari)
Sasa changamoto ilikuja baada ya kufaulu mtihani kuingia kidato cha kwanza, kwani ilitakiwa niiache biashara kwenye mikono ya watu wengine. Starting a business, growing it, and then figuring out how to make it run without a lot of day-to-day supervision is a real challenge. By the time I completed my secondary education the business was deadly broke. Niliamua kuuza vyote vilivyosalia na kutafuta mtu wa kumuachia ile fremu ya biashara na kutengeneza commission yangu. I plotted the flavor of my next indulgence and headed toward Mining Industry. Nilipofika Mererani nikafanya utafiti na matokeo yake yakawa kureplicate the same business which I did back in the Days,

Pamoja na kwamba nilikuwa m wanafunzi pekee aliyefaulu kwa daraja la juu, Katika yote niliyojifunza Sekondari, sikuona kitu kikubwa kilichoniandaa kukabiliana na changamoto za maisha zilizokuwa mbele yangu, kwani sehemu kubwa ya elimu yote niliyoipata haikuniandaa kupambana na mazingira halisi yaliyokuwa yananikabili. Kwa mfano katika somo la kemia nilitegemea tufundishwe namna ya kuchangaya kemikali ili kutengeneza sabuni kwani mahitaji na soko lilikuwepo lakini sijawahi kuona kitu kinachoendana na hicho kabisa (kwani si lazima tuwe na somo la ujasiriamali kama somo, ingewezekana kumainstream ujasiriamali kwenye masomo mengine au katika uendeshaji wa shule.
Miaka 19-21 (Elimu ya High School)
Changamoto tena ilikuja baada ya kufaulu mtihani kuingia kidato cha tano, kwani ilitakiwa niiache biashara kwenye mikono ya watu wengine.

Kwa leo nihitimishe kwa kusema, I'm not yet rich (in the definition of others) but I'm also not working 5 days a week just to get 2 days off. Kwangu mimi Wealth is not only measured in cash and assets, but the free time I have and the relationships I build with others,
