Dreamliner imesababisha ushindani mkali baina ya mashirika ndani ya Tanzania

No international airport with no fuel farm! Only in Kenya land!

Why are you telling yourself things? Which international airport doesn't have refuelling?
Isiolo, which doesn't receive many big planes, may not have enough fuel to fill a dreamliner in stock. But that doesn't mean it does't have refuelling infrastructure.

The so claimed international i.e. Isiolo n kisumu airports don't have

International flights

Although the PS said the Government could not directly influence passenger growth at the airport citing transit nature of operations, he expressed confidence that expansion and installation of key services would translate into more regular international flights received at the facility.

State woos private sector to grow Kisumu airport

Isiolo Airport runway should be expanded - Governor

Isiolo governor Mohamed Kuti has called for expansion of the Isiolo International Airport runway to three kilometres from the current 1.4 kilometres, to accommodate large aircraft.

Inadequate facilities such as short runways, insufficient lighting to enable planes to land or take off at night and an efficient control tower, have hindered operations at the facility.

Kenya is a liberal country. The way your emperor forces companies to list on the stock exchange, our president cannot force airlines to use certain airports.
We leave most things to market forces.
Just because Kisumu doesn't have regular international flights doesn't mean it doesn't have the infrastructure and capacity. When the demand arrives, airlines will follow.
Isiolo was built for agricultural purposes. Especially exporting products like miraa to Somalia, instead of Meru farmers driving all the way to Nairobi.

You're not making a lot of sense, but know this.
A dreamliner can comfortably land in the following Kenyan airports.

1. JKIA
2. Wilson
3. Mombasa International
4. Eldoret International
5. Kisumu International
6. Isiolo International
Neither of two runways at Wilson r above 1500m! Automatically disqualified as international airport.

Whereas Eldoret is for cargo airport though runway permits big PAX aircraft! Not sure whether other facilities necessary for large PAX aircraft are there!

Same applies to Mombasa until now no dreamliner has ever landed there! A reason most demonstration flights for new planes are done between JKIA n KIA.

Stop being a fool I gave up evidence from runway length to facilities on the ground! Even the governor was complaining. Even Obama left his bird at JKIA n boarder a local aircraft as no hangar exist at Kisumu to protect his jet as security arrangement requires.

Wilson is more international than your JNIA. It is the second busiest airport in Kenya with planes landing from all over the world.

Airlines deploy dreamliners to long haul lucrative routes. If Mombasa does not tick the boxes for an airline, they won't deploy their most prestigious aircraft on this route.
But that is not to say it would be technically impossible to land the dreamliner in Mombasa.

Liberal countries dont force importers to use a slow moribound SGR to transport their cargo inland. So which liberal contry are you speaking of? 😀

That runway is well enough for the airport's capacity, and the infrastructure is of international standards. With our small country and smaller population our airports ziko tu sawa, usijicompare na sisi we are better than you.

Ahaaa haaa haaa
It's not uncommon for defeated person to come with lame excuses and empty words.

Obama came with a very small private jet. Fly 540 operates similar or slightly larger ones from small airports like Kitale and even airstrips.
I'm not privy to Obama's travel arrangements, but I know it had nothing to do with the airport in Kisumu. VIP flight sharing planes come with flight hour restrictions and perhaps Obama prefers to use his hours for longer distances.
In any case, even Air Force One does not require a hangar. On trips, it sits patiently on the tarmac waiting for Potus.

Another lay man's way of arguing. What's the meaning of more international?
Again, why shifting the goal by introducing something strange in the discussion. We're talking about isiolo unaleta Wilson. Pambaf.

That's a different story. The government is simply terminating the importation process at the inland port in Nairobi. From Mombasa to Nairobi, the cargo is still in the hands of the government not the businessmen.
Once they clear in Nairobi, as they would in Mombasa, they can use whatever means they prefer.
Plus its saving our roads.

Nimeona tangazo lao fastjet wataanza kutoa refreshment na kuondoa ule utaratibu wao wa zamani wa kulipia

Show me a hangar at Kisumu! As that was a reason for a visiting US President or Xmas president's bird to land.
