Waswahili husema hayawi hayawi, huwa ...

Mbae said the industrial park would be a mixed-use economic hub, integrating industrial, commercial, residential, hospitality and institutional uses.

Nafurahia vile hawakujaribu sijui kuweka ma skyscraper na vitu vyengine ambavyo si lazima... Wameangalia instead kutumia hela kujenga clean, livable smart city that creates and produces work and products but you can also play when we want to.

Vipingo City is a new model city located on the Kenyan Coast that is designed to engage and support the existing community. In 30 years, Vipingo City will be Kenya’s first completely walkable city, with 12 distinctive neighborhoods, a thriving economy, reliable infrastructure, a variety of housing types, public parks, healthy food systems, quality schools, and functioning ecological systems.

Vipingo will be the model for providing modern infrastructure in affordable ways that allow businesses and families to thrive. In collaboration with rePLACE Urban Studio and Athena, LEVEL provided urban and infrastructure planning for the 10,000-acre site. The plan is a framework for development that includes guidance on land uses, densities, open space sizes, and all backbone infrastructure – roads, wastewater, drinking water, drainage, power, internet and telecommunications, and solid waste management.

Phase 1 will mostly focus on creating Residential areas

Fully furnished (to your liking) 3 bedroom Bungalow which has a total built up area of 155 sqm is 13 Million, while 3 bedroom Maisonette which are 210 sqm goes for 17 Million

BTW, Dr. Bitange Ndemo - The guy who brought us Vision2030 Project and coined the term Silicon Savannah is actually involved in the setting up of this city so you know its gonna be something to behold. That guy doesn't play when it comes to creative thinking and using technology for development.

I mean even his current job title is enough to give you chills

Hizi nyumba zinapendeza

this guy was treated unfairly by the current regime. He is the type that should be in government leading ministries.

Hata mi nashangaa, THis guy should be a super minister, But huwezi jua, maybe he finds more joy in life doing the technical work and not being the boss.. Even during Kibaki's government, he was the permanent Secretary and not a minister. And as the permanent secretary he did the actual technocratic work as opposed to the minister who just rubber stamped on the projects. And that is why he is credited for the Vision2030 and the Silicon savanna work... Nobody actually remembers who was the minister of ICT then

He even wrote an article on that sidestepping he received from the UHURUTO regime.
Nasty!!!

Mimi hushangaa pia na hizi politics because they really rob us citizens of advancement opportunities. Imagine people Bitange Ndemo, Shem Ochuodho and the likes, out in the cold and shit heads like Rashid Echesa in government??
What criteria is used by the appointing authority??

I see you are converting a farmland into a residential area!
Sisal farmland and not food farmland.
The sisal plantations around that area have been in existence since early 70s and no farmer seems to be getting richer! And its only sisal and mbuyu trees that grow there because those are the type of plants that survive the soil there.
It's time for them to bring factories and other industries plus good schools and other amenities that follow to the area.. once residents start working and earning they will afford to buy food from Tz!!!
