Nilidhani Bongoland ilitokea kwa ajili wengi wenyu ni BONGOLALA, could I be wrong? How was your weekend son?
As East Africans in Kenya,Uganda,Rwanda and Burundi are celebrating the ushering in of EAC market protocol,Tanzanians are busy whining about this new dawn we have.Apart from few sensible ones I have talked t, majority are really ignorant about the benefits of this whole arrangement to them personally, they are busy dwelling on the negatives which with serious consideration they do not hold any water.
Their small minds tell them that now the rest of East Africans will invade Tanzania, as if this is the only EA country one can go to.Another complain is that they will not be able to compete with the rest of East Africans at the same level,if so ,am wondering whose fault is it!
How can a country with a land mass more than that of Kenya,Uganda,Rwanda and Burundi combined, blessed with natural resources which no other country can equal be so pessismistic about EAC when the truth is, if embraced it can benefit Tanzanians more than any other country.
Most East africans visiting Tanzania are still regarded as foreigners, they are being subjected to the same treatment as other foreigners,eg when visiting national parks they pay higher fees, until one has to lie that he is either from Arusha,Moshi or any town in Tz to evade this fees, where are we heading to?.
The attitude Tanzanians have towards other East africans is not welcoming. In Uganda and Rwanda things are totally different!why not in TZ!?That is why i think that,it is a high time Tanzania withdrew from EAC, let progressive minds move on,still your fears will still befall you.So long as you stll have the resources, minus the brains to utilise them, waiting for miracles to happen,WE will still come to dominate you,we have the both the intellectual and monetary capital that you cant match. It is either you accept competition, gain the experience then expoit your potential to the fullest or keep on whining while foreigners take over your country, however badly we may be treated we nothing will stop us from investing in Tanzania, most Kenyans have travelled to Burundi,Rwanda and Uganda to incorporate companies with great success within a short time, remember any citizen of E.A can sue any state or organisation within the EAC,in the E.A Supreme Court for breaching the terms of the protocol.I was happy the other day to find that the largest open air market in kenya, Gikomba, most traders are tanzanians, mostly ladies, people love them that is why they are still in business, another big market Wakulima market is full of Tanzanian trucks carrying various friuts and vegetables.Where does your fear come from!!
I guess you were not yet born in 1977 so you don't know why most Tanzanians do'nt like the EAC especially if it involves Kenya. You look at the rosy side only while we look at both the rosy and the thorny sides.Heheheheee.. wacha woga weee.. If you allow me to give you some advise please: Just don't waste your time trying to outsmart the Nyang'au's cause in the meantime, they will be doing what they do best; business as usual.

Ukimbizi utaacha lini? Huna kwenu wewe no pride no dignity. Utabakia kuwa manamba hadi kiama. pili pili iko Tanzania wewe inakuwashia nini? Endelea kuwaabudu hao mafirauni wenu.
Third worl countries made mistake to allow free trade, we are not in right platform to compete! the idea is good, but how far does the government has prepared her people in this so called shirikisho?
Tanzania leo kuna shule za kizungu na kiswahili! two systems of education in one country!
Nilikutana na Mganda mmoja akasema kiswahili kilizaliwa Tanzania Kikakulia Kenya na kuzikwa Uganda, kiingereza kilizaliwa Uganda kikakulia kenya na kufa Tanzania!
All in all siasa nyingi kuliko hali halisi, Tanzania siku hizi ni = DSM, na tunaposema waliosoma tunajifanya kama vile wote wamefika chuo kikuu
mijitu imebaki tu, policy, investors, common market etc! kwani halikuwahi kuwepo hili shirikisho?
We kimada bado upo? Naona waliokuweka kimada wameiba vya kutosha sasa wakikutekeleza utaweza kweli ku-surf kwenye net?
Lemme break it down further.
A free trade agreement is a pact between countries or areas in which they both agree to lift most or all tariffs, quotas, special fees and taxes, and other barriers to trade between the entities.
The purpose of free trade agreements is to allow faster and more business between the countries/areas, which should benefit both.
The underlying economic theory of free trade agreements is that of "comparative advantage," which originated in an 1817 from a certain economist from Britain. His book is entitled "On the Principles of Political Economy and Taxation"
Put simply, the "theory of comparative advantage " postulates that that in a free marketplace, each country/area will ultimately specialize in that activity where it has comparative advantage (i.e. natural resources, skilled artisans, agriculture-friendly weather, etc.). Like in your case TZ is invincible in natural resources and the latter.
The result should be that all parties to the pact will increase their income.
In your sentiments, i don't find solid excuses, because i don't think industries are just built in a flash. For a country like TZ, it would take full re-structuring to be able to produce or rather manufacture own goods and sell the goods to your own market. It would not be applicable. Even in Kenya, most of the goods manufactured are exported, we don't consume them by our own self. So, simply, manufactured goods need consumers, esp. foreign so as to benefit a country's economy. So, i believe you get what i mean when i say re-structuring is inevitable. Currently, our east African countries face adverse balance of trade. This is mainly because of the export-import between the countries.
BTW, don't say that TZ will turn into a consumer country while you forget that you are the primary producers.
SIO KWA UBAYA LAKINI ABDULHAIM HAS BEEN GIVEN A LESSON. realdeal you are trully the real deal
Nilidhani Bongoland ilitokea kwa ajili wengi wenyu ni BONGOLALA, could I be wrong? How was your weekend son?
Unajua tatizo lako uko to Theoretical, wakati Abdulhalim yuko to practical.
"The underlying economic theory of free trade agreements is that of "comparative advantage," which originated in an 1817 from a certain economist from Britain. His book is entitled "On the Principles of Political Economy".
Nafikiri umenielewa......
I wish you would clarify what nadharia means, but all the same, it seems to me that you don't understand the purpose of my theories. I also wonder where on earth has the theory ever preceded the practical.
