DEVELOPMENT BY PEOPLE
With stiv

Economic development is a complex puzzle, it need three dimensional approach involving every tool and resources you have, not only by just construction of roads and accessible social services, having fancy buildings or your citizen using advanced technologies available. It has to focus on people (citizens) ownership of economy in their country, on the beginning of the nation we had three enemy poverties, poor knowledge and poor health. The fight for our enemy started very early, later on the fight has been colored with inspiring and attractive programs, wonderful enough they leave the Tanzanian society in the same pit.

The country has afforded to hold and maintain the poor health system, and training her citizen to fit in their social services in expense of getting a mass of hopeless people
Let’s talk of Tanzanian knowledge, during colonial times education to blacks was to supplement the need in social services, after independence it was the same plus elderly education and training technicians and other workers in industries. With a closer look in now days the great percent of universities products are for being employed in the available social services not to a goal of having independency in every aspect of a day to day activity as in our country many of products are not made in our country

The mind is at threat as there is no set ground for people to give out their thinking and innovative ideas as they are all doing to survive and getting the day to day bread. this is not only to unemployed one but also employed ones, due to domination of foreign products that covers every aspect in needs of individual we have rested waiting for their innovation, we are brain washed. and we can’t afford waiting since the war is getting tighter, whereby can reach a point where we can’t fight back to attain the advancement and owning our technology (a modern slavery). our human nature of evolving in adapting the environment has been interrupted by believing we can have it all, what we need is money only. Regardless of how we will be able to modify our own environment independently.

We have to trust our own people to have the country’s economy bon our hand, our roads and building are constructed by foreigners, we are empty and naked we need to wear clothes and start to walk through the advancement in technology, through ownership of science technology and development people they will be proud to their country otherwise they will find someone to blame. imagine being in a country where every important infrastructure built by foreign company, what that make us (it’s shame) People with lost hope. Having belief of failure

We need inborn engineers who are able to build skyscraper, roads and bridges, machinery engineers for increasing the efficiency and having cost effective means to improve every aspect of life, institutional with long time experience like National Housing Cooperation to be able to translate the housing of a Tanzanian, pharmacist with ability to extract active ingredients from natural occurring plants and to synthesize drugs and vaccine, doctors with capacity to perform meaningful research and coming up with ideas and innovation in improving the deteriorating health of Tanzanian, artist and designers to color our beautiful Tanzania, Innovation in tech industries which have radical impact in the country’s economy plus other sectors which has to be explored to their best possible by our own

What it takes. Is first of all we need to have a policy that will require the government institutions, private sectors including those come as Foreign Direct Investment to do research and development programs, and supporting the innovations inside the country and advancing the knowledge of the trained citizen. Secondly the training in the universities to focus more on the new ideas, researches and development, with presence of fertile ground to stimulate and support the innovations. And the initiations of system and institutions that will support the trained Tanzanian to grab the constructions of countries infrastructure and products, with a long run these are what will get us out of daily song of inaccessible water supply, poor health services and it will help and reducing the cost of productions in agriculture hence increased efficiency. As can be indicated in world development report of 2016 on how Israel had rapid development (1).

In comparison with the advancement of the high economy countries, cannot be compared to ours even back in times where they had no fancy buildings and roads, because in their early years they had industrialization revolutions whereby they own every step in the advancement in technologies and they made a lot of investment in innovations and made them own all which is contrary to our country. This does not mean as a country has to isolate and do everything on her own instead to start to embrace and engage in researches and innovations for development and trusting its citizens to build in making good use of their knowledge.
