Our country TANZANIA is blessed, and in order to preserve and grow what we are blessed with we need to improvise both socially, economically and politically. The following are matters that need to be overseen so as the visions that we have for our country can become a reality.
THE EDUCATION SYSTEM
Education is an important factor for the development of our country .Since the government is on the run to change the education system ,there are various matters that need to be considered so that the goals that have been set to be fully reached.
EARLY CHILDHOOD STIMULATION
Early childhood stimulation refers to activities that aim at helping in the development of a child’s abilities. While still at a young age, children at school should be taught on how to express themselves and how they can use the knowledge that they are receiving to develop themselves and their country. This will be very useful because we will have scholars who are well prepared for what is to come. Keeping in mind, the main purpose for rendering education is not enable people to get jobs but to enable them to gain skills, and employ them in an effective way, it would be a shame if our scholars lack basic understanding.
PROMOTION OF BOTH ENGLISH AND KISWAHILI LANGUAGE
The existing issue in our country is the need to promote Kiswahili and give it priority something that is not wrong, but on the road to promote Kiswahili let’s not forget the impacts that English has. If the government decides to promote Kiswahili only, then the students’ motivation to learn the language will be lost something that is not good because we can’t escape the language. Kiswahili should be given priority in our country but during the whole process, the strategies involved should not hinder the motivation for learning English language.
INCREASED ASSOCIATION BETWEEN GOVERNMENT STUDENTS AND NON GOVERNMENT STUDENTS
Students from both institutions require association in order to grow and excel together, it’s always better to get to learn more about various things from a different environment. This is beneficial because, bringing students from different backgrounds will enable them to come up with various creative ideas. Programs such as debates, seminars, competitions, sports can be used to create associations among these students.
THE NEED TO STOP UNNATURAL OFFENCES AND DRUG ADDICTION
Last year homosexuality was a raised issue but as the days went on the matter subsided. Despite the fact that the matter has now subsided we shouldn’t be sure that it isn’t there in fact we should be informed that the matter is growing .There are societies in which these things are practiced and they are either done secretly or in the open, worse enough they’re imparted on children who become confused about their sexuality. Also sexual activities should be condemned because they also can be the chain to unnatural offences and other social misconducts that are not conventional in our Tanzanian society.
DRUG ADDICTION
Most youth are victims of drug addiction and they are at a risk of becoming drug users. So far both government and non-government organization have tried to oversee this mater and been successful enough in promoting awareness, providing counseling and medication to the victims but despite of all the measures taken this problem is still taking charge.
PROPOSED SOLUTIONS TO THESE MISCONDUCTS
More awareness programs should be facilitated to enlighten citizens about existing issues. They should be able to speak out about the misconducts in their societies without hesitation making it easy for our leaders to identify the roots of the problems and finding permanent solutions.
At school level, teachers should raise awareness about unnatural offences in a manner that will enable young students to understand about the issue because from where we are going, children will be likely to be confused about their sexuality.
Policies as a course of action aren’t enough, they need to be acted upon in order to enforce the weight of this matter. The government should also find various ways to enable, more people to have knowledge about the policies made to promote a sense of discipline among citizens.
Medias should use all its channels to create awareness and condemn such acts. The use of cartoon programs would be useful in helping young children to understand and not be confused about their sexuality.
Youth programs are very useful hence both government and non-government organizations should work hand in hand to promote these programs these programs will help the youth to grow and become useful people in our societies.
Also, rehabilitation centers are scarce in regions hence more of them should be built to render help to the victims. Furthermore, rehabs shouldn’t only be a place for medication and counseling but also sports and other fun activities should be involved.
THE NEED TO CONTROL TECHNOLOGY USE AMONG YOUNGSTERS
Technology advancement is beneficial because it promotes awareness, increases intellect, creates employment, promotes innovation and creativity, useful in learning process etc. however if not limited on its use to youngsters then they are likely to be victims. Currently, there has been a tremendous growth of internet use and many youngsters are among the users, this has led them to become too demanding, non-docile, distant from parents, morally deteriorated, victims of cyber bulling and misleading etc. Children nowadays are exposed a lot to social media such that they are adapting what is being displayed, causing them to act contrary from their age hence they are exposed to things earlier before their right time. Restrictions should be put to control this challenge and also parental guidance should be emphasized because its parents who give these devices to their children.
IN CONCLUSION, writing is just a way of expressing oneself but there is no greater feeling than that of performing what you have suggested.so to all the writers, it shouldn’t just end here hence we should be the pioneers of what we have proposed.
