I can now understand why serious clauses were rejected in the currently proposed constitution that was purposefully distorted by the pro CCM members of parliament. Under the proposed pro CCM constitution impeachment, prosecution and punishment of the incumbent and retired presidents will almost be impossible.
Ample evidence points to the President as the mastermind of the whole Escrow saga I.e. instructions from his office to the BOT to order the release of funds in question.
There's ample evidence that the Simba Trust company that is an accomplice with the PAP belongs to members of his family. In countries with responsible leadership he ought to retire himself and the whole of his government.
This is one of the best reasons why the proposed constitution must be rejected!
