Failed states index : Kenya yashika nafasi ya 17

- A fragile or failing state is a state whose central government is so weak or ineffective that it has little practical control over much of its territory, non-provision of public services, widespread corruption and criminality, refugees and involuntary movement of populations, and sharp economic decline.

So according to united States think tank fund for peace, countries from EAST AFRICA only Kenya ( 17 ), Burundi (18) and South Sudan ( 1 ) are in the top twenty. Tanzania is 64, USA 154, North Korea 28 and Uganda 24 among others.
Question is, are we seriously comparing Tanzania and Kenya?

So whats your point? That Tz has a larger and stronger economy than Kenya or the Tz shilling is more stable than the KES? Are you disputing the fact that the % of poor citizenry is larger in Tz than Kenya? That all parameters of development, education, health, infrastructure are higher in Kenya than in TZ? Kenya is only there because of rampant corruption. Otherwise ,no abuse of power or democracy assault.
Basically, Tanzania is a failed state due to unequitable distribution of resources. A country with no devolution may soon fall under the category of failed states.
