Leakey, was a Kenyan paleoanthropologist and archaeologist whose work was important in demonstrating that humans evolved in Africa, particularly through discoveries made at Olduvai Gorge with his wife, fellow paleontologist Mary Leakey
2. Richard Erskine Frere Leakey (born 19 December 1944) is a Kenyanpaleoanthropologist, conservationist, and politician. He is second of the three sons of the archaeologists Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey, and is the younger half-brother of Colin Leakey.
3.Princess Louise de Merode (née: Leakey, born 21 March 1972) is a Kenyanpaleontologist and anthropologist. She conducts research and field work on human fossils in Eastern Africa.[1]
