G4S Kenya imetangaza kuwa itapunguza angalau wafanyakazi 400 kufuatia kupungua kwa biashara kunakosababishwa na athari za changamoto ngumu za kiuchumi, hali ambayo imesababisha kupungua kwa mapato na gharama kubwa za kuendesha biashara.
Barua kutoka G4S Kenya kwa Wizara ya Kazi iliyoonekana na BRK inasema kuwa taarifa za kupunguza wafanyakazi zimeanza kutekelezwa mwezi huu.
"Zoezi la kupunguza wafanyakazi lina uwezekano wa kuathiri takriban wafanyakazi mia nne (400) walioko katika maeneo mbalimbali nchini Kenya katika ngazi zote mbili za usimamizi na za wanachama wa vyama vya wafanyakazi kati ya tarehe 04 Novemba 2024 na Aprili 2025," inasema sehemu ya barua kutoka kwa Mkurugenzi wa Rasilimali Watu wa G4S Kenya.

G4S Kenya has announced that it will be laying off at least 400 employees following a reduction in business occasioned by the effects of the harsh economic challenges, leading to reduced revenues and a high cost of running the business.
A letter from G4S Kenya to the Ministry of Labour seen by BRK says notices of redundancy have taken effect this month.
"The redundancy exercise is likely to affect approximately four hundred (400) employees based in various locations in Kenya in both categories of management and unionsable cadres between 04 November 2024 and April 2025," says part of the letter from G4S Kenya HR Director.
Barua kutoka G4S Kenya kwa Wizara ya Kazi iliyoonekana na BRK inasema kuwa taarifa za kupunguza wafanyakazi zimeanza kutekelezwa mwezi huu.
