- His father allegedly helped him jump the bail after he involved a third party to pay bail for his son

Gatanga Member of Parliament Humphrey Njuguna’s son has been accused of being a wanted criminal in Tanzania.

According to a widely circulated post on social media, Henry Njuguna alias Wa Kimani caused a traffic accident in Arusha over Easter which led to the loss of life, injuries as well as extensive damage to property due to careless driving.

The post was written by a fellow Kenyan, Charity Githinji, a former business development manager at Kibo Palace Hotel who resides in Arusha, Tanzania.

Viviane, the lady in the back seat, lost her life after the son of a Kenyan member of Parliament caused a fatal traffic accident. In the front seats are Henry Njuguna and Charity Githinji.

The post mentioned that the victim who had been killed in the road accident was a lady by the name Viviane who worked with Kenya Airways before she lost her life ‘to someone who doesn’t respect the laws of a country as well as the loss of life’.

Charity is on a mission to get the post shared widely so that Henry can be arrested to and returned to Tanzania to face charges.

Humphrey has been in politics representing Gatanga since March 2013.

He is a first time politician who vied on a National Rainbow Coalition ticket which recently merged into the Jubilee Alliance.

He is also a senior law partner at Njuguna Kimani Nduhiu & Co. Advocates.
