German President Joachim Gauck
President Gauck will hold political talks with President Jakaya Kikwete, members of parliament and civil society representatives. His partner Ms Daniela Schadt and a high-ranking business delegation accompany the German President.
On February 4, President Gauck will travel to Zanzibar for talks with President Ali Mohamed Shein and participants of an interreligious dialogue forum. The German Federal President Federal will leave for Arusha in the evening.
In Arusha, President Gauck will visit the African Court on Human and Peoples Rights, the East African Community (EAC) and give a speech at the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
He will hand over the Operations Command Centre for anti poaching established by the Deutsche Zoologische Gesellschaft in Seronera, Serengeti National Park.
President Gauck will travel back to Germany on February 6, via Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA).
