What are the goals which law seeks to achive in the society?(Nisaidieni juu ya hilo)

Acquinas & Salmond have claimed justice as the goal of law(Fitzgerald, Salmond on Jurisprudence,p.60)
for them unjust law is no law. Law should work to ensure a fair division of social benefits and burdens
among the members of the society.In a just system of law, expectation are equality distribution, and
corrective justice by the court(Supra).
