Dear All,

As of 4:00pm on the 30[SUP]th[/SUP] January 2013 Scheduled Mining activities at Golden Pride came to an end.

After approximately 14 years and 5 months, 78,000,000 BCM of material movement and in excess of 12,000,000 BCM of ore, Golden Pride stands to represent a very successful mining operation for Resolute Mining Limited and for Tanzania.

I take this opportunity to thank everyone from contractors, sub-contractors and all employees that have been associated for the life of the mining operations for their contributions toward this success with some seeing both the first load of waste and also the last load of ore. With challenges too numerous to mention, it is the people that have driven the operation to achieve this milestone in a safe and productive manner and ultimately be proud with their association.
